Prelude to Light
The Holy Spirit of Truth.
The Grace of God Almighty is not seen nor fully understood in the Truth, for in the Council of His Wisdom and His Understanding within His Knowledge of all things of His creation, Yahweh God's Grace is Life administered by His unseen Holy Spirit of Grace! We need to consider the full implications of what is written in scripture so that the conditional statement is understood. The word [if] is the beginning of a conditional statement, that is followed with a an understood [then] that defines the end of the condition: Therefore if you live after the flesh, [then] you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, [then] you shall live. The condition of God's Grace is further amplified in this Scripture with: If the many are led by the Spirit of God [then] they are the sons of God. (Understand the conditions in Romans 8 verse 7 thru 14.) The Holy Spirit of God is the Grace of God that has come to lead us in the Way, of the Truth and the Life that is the Christ of Holy God. For by [the Spirit of] Grace are you saved thru Faith in Christ and not of yourselves: Grace is the Gift of God. (See Ephesians 2 verse 8.) For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8 verse 2.)
By experience, we have found that many errors can be made in the multitude of words, and so even with our best efforts, we may fail in our expressions of that which is good. Nevertheless, in spite of our short comings, we'll press on believing we have received good understanding through the Spirit of God's Grace. Truth begins for us in Jesus, for Christ is the Truth. The Truth of God's New Salvation Covenant of Grace, is sealed in the Life Blood of Jesus Christ, where the essence of the absolute Truth of God, comes forth only through the leading of the Supreme Authority of God's Holy Spirit of Truth and Grace.
So then, let us return to the evening of the 15th of Nissan, where the Lord Yeshua/Jesus presides over the first day of the Jewish Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread. After Judas Iscariot, in the midst of the Pascal Feast, had departed to finish his betrayal of His Lord, then the Lord Jesus Christ, the True Bread of Heaven, said to His remaining disciples: A new Commandment I give unto you: That you Love one another, as I have Loved/Agapao you, so shall you Love/Agapao one another. By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, If you have Agape/Love one to another. (John 13 verse 33 verse 35.) The agape kind of love that Jesus is describing is sacrificial, and is looking to the welfare of another rather than to one's own self satisfaction.
Then Jesus told His disciples that He was going away, and they could not come with Him at that time, but they would follow Him afterward. The apostles were confused at His Words, and became dismayed within the realization that the comfort, that they had in Jesus, the Messiah of God, would no longer be with them. Then Jesus Christ, the Way the Truth and the Life of men, attempts to reassure His disciples as we read in John 14, and finally Jesus says to them: If you Love/Agape Me, [then] keep My Commandments, and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever: Even the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because the world sees Him not, neither knows Him: But you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (John 14 verses 15 thru 18.)
While Jesus the Christ of God was dwelling with His disciples He protected all of them within the Name of His Father (Yahweh), except for the son of perdition. (See John 17 verse 12.) But there would soon be a time when the Spirit of Christ would come and reside within the soul of His disciples to lead them in the Truth of His Holy Father Yahweh's exalted Word, and His only Begotten Son Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah. That beginning day, for the disciples, was the day of Pentecost when God's Holy Spirit of Grace descended upon and filled all those that were waiting in the upper room. When hearing the Mighty Wind of the Spirit, subsequently, a throng of peoples gathered outside the upper room, where Peter, with the disciples, would preach with conviction the Salvation Word of God. Being convicted in their hearts, some of the people asked the disciples; what must we do? Then Peter said unto them: Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Thus the Promise of the Lord at His last Passover Table came into being on that Day of First Fruits: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. And again with the Lord's instructions after His resurrection, Jesus said to His disciples: That repentance and remission of sins should be preached in Messiah's Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And behold I shall send the Promise of My Father upon you: But tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with Power from on High. (See Luke 24 verse 36 thru 49.) When God's Holy Spirit would come to Christ's followers then the disciple of Jesus Christ would be led by His Spirit of Grace into all that is the Truth.
On that day of the new birth of the ecclesia/church, the Holy Spirit of God glorified the victorious Christ of God, the First Born of the Father, and the first Fruits of Christ of Whom Yahweh raised from the dead. At that time the Holy Spirit of God's Grace descended in the Power of Life upon all the hearers that repented of their sins and were baptized in the Faith of Christ as believers in the First Fruit resurrection of God's only Begotten Son, Christ Jesus.
The Day God's Holy Spirit of Grace gives Birth to Life
On this One Day of Shavuot, the Word of God was born the Son of Man: And on this Day of Pentecost the One Holy Spirit of God gave new birth to the Ecclesia of repentant sinners of man kind.
Do you not believe that I AM in the Father, and the Father in Me? The Words that I speak unto you, I speak not of Myself, but the Father that dwells in Me, He does the works. (John 14 verse 10.) At that day you shall know that I AM in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. (John 14 verse 20.) Again the we hear the Lord speak of the conditions of God's abiding Love. If a man Love/Agapao Me, [then] he will obey My Words, and My Father will Love/Agapao him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. (John 14 verse 23.)
Many years ago, at about the same time that I had the first visionary dreams concerning the Communion Table of our Lord Jesus Christ, I was in prayer and received another revelation, The following will give incite to the above relational scriptures.
My wife Rose and I, had come home after a Wednesday evening home fellowship. Rose had gone to bed, and I went into the living room to kneel at a chair, and began to pray to the Lord. I do not recall what melancholic need that prompted the following plea to the Lord, but, it was probably very similar to one of your calls to our Savior. In the midst of my prayer, I cried out softly to the Lord Jesus, “O Lord, ……, I sure wish I could see you right now.” What I heard in my being, came back so profoundly, so powerfully full of Truth that I knew instantly, that the Lord by His Holy Spirit had spoken, and not the mind of this man. The Holy Spirit said, “I have put My Spirit in Joseph, I have put My Spirit in Debbie, I have put My Spirit in Rose. Behold your Master!” The names were some of those Christians that I and my wife had met with that evening. In the Body of Jesus Christ, we are all members and servants of each other, so that by the Power of God's Holy Spirit, the Body of Christ would glorify the Almighty God, in serving one another in the unity of God's Love for us, but also a world of lost souls.
Our true Love of the Almighty God, will manifest itself in one's obedience to God's good Will. This is My Commandment: That you love (agapao) one another, as I have Agapao all of you. Greater Love (Agape) has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends, IF you do what I Command you. (John 15 verse 12 thru 14.) If a man love (agapao) Me, he will keep My Words: and My Father will Love (agapao) him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loves (agapao) Me not, keeps not My sayings, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me. (See John 14 verse 23 thru 25.) The Love of God comes first to our hearts, and then our obedience follows in the footsteps of Love. (See Romans 5 verse 6 thru 9.)
With the Truth of God residing in the heart of the believer, the scriptures now says through Paul: That you put off concerning the former conversation of the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind (heart); And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man Truth with his neighbor: For we are members one of another. Be angry, and sin not: Let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that has need. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good, to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers. (Ephesians 4 verse 22 thru 28.) The spirit at the core of our minds is to be constantly washed and renewed in the Covenant Word of the Lord God Almighty, so that the new man birthed in Christ begins to show forth the righteous work of God in our souls. We are saved into new Life by the Grace of God thru Faith, and are all called to be the ambassadors of God's Grace in Christ Jesus, so that this lost world would know of God's mercy to all who call upon His Name. With the New Covenant Grace of God abounding within our souls, we should always endeavor to speak and act, in the Almighty's behalf, with the Grace of His Salvation Truth.
I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever: When He is come, even the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because the world sees Him not; He will reprove the world (yes, we whom God calls out) of sin, and of judgment, and of righteousness. Of sin, because they [including we] believed not on Me. [No man comes to My Father except by Me.] Of righteousness, because I go to the Father. [The Lord, He is our Righteousness.] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. And when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: For He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear that shall He speak, and He will show you things to come. He shall Glorify Me; for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it [the Glory] unto you. (See John 14 verse 16 thru 17, and John 16 verse 7 thru 15.)
The world does not receive the Holy Spirit of God naturally, for the world remains mired up to its eyes in its dark captivity of unbelief. Even so God calls all sinners to repentance and to turn away from this world of death and corruption, and to receive the inward guidance of His Spirit of Grace. And when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will come with the fire of the Holiness that is of Christ, too correct His child of the sins of the flesh; for He will reprove our self righteousness, with the Righteousness of the Christ of God; and He will correct our judgments with His righteous judgments, for the prince that holds this dark world captive, is already condemned, whose judgment will be finalized in the end. If the people of the world do not repent, then they have entered into God's same judgment as that of their captor the devil. Sin is judged as death, and death is not of God's Kingdom of the Living.
Jesus the Christ of God, being the Jewish Host of God's Passover Table, conducted for His disciples the Torah's required High Sabbath evening meal of Nisan the 15th. Jesus Christ, at this particular Jewish Feast of Passover with Unleavened Bread, would end the old covenant in the sacrificial blood of animals and the eating of their flesh, and now inaugurate the New Covenant in the Flesh of His Body, sealed in the Life Blood of the Incarnate last true genetic offspring of Adam.
And as they were eating, [of the passover lamb of the old covenant] Jesus [The True Bread of Heaven] took [the unleavened] bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My Body. And He took the (wine for the 3rd) cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink of it, all you; For this is My Blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (See Matthew, Mark and Luke.)
Yahweh God gave the Life of His only begotten Son, to be both a sin offering and a peace offering for His people who would receive in Covenant Faith, God's Salvation Gift of Grace with grateful thanksgiving. In our Great Salvation from sin and death, the priesthood of new born believers are all called to be partakers of the unleavened Bread of Heaven, born the flesh of Man, and to drink of His sanctifying Covenant Blood that covers over our confessed faults with His Veil of Agape/Love. Everyone that names the Name of the Lord, must depart from wickedness. (See 2nd Timothy 2 verse 19, and Luke 13 verse 27.) Therefore, in all cases of ongoing defiling sin, know that; Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little yeast leavens the whole lump of dough? Purge out therefore the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you are to be unleavened. For indeed Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. (See 1st Corinthians 5 verse 6 thru 7.)
Yeast is indicative of sin, and our Lord, Jesus the Christ of God, was without sin within the total essence of His whole being of Body, Soul and Mind. I AM the Living Bread which came down from heaven: If any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever, and the Bread that I will give is My Flesh, which I will give for the Life of the world. (John 6 verse 48 thru 51.) That Bread that the Lord gives for the life of the world, is Living Bread that came down from the Father, and not that which is satanically defiled with the corrupting leaven of sin. Therefore, seeing that we, by the faith of Christ, are new creations in Christ Jesus, let us purge out the old leaven of sin and death, and let us keep the feast [of the Lord] with the unleavened bread of sincerity and Truth, (See 1st Corinthians 5 verse 8.)
In the Light of God's Holy Spirit, the corruption of selfish sin that can so easily weigh us down in guilt, will be exposed, even by the cutting edge of the Sword of the Spirit. (See Hebrew 4 verse 12 thru 13.) In God's Goodness, He will wound us, to bring us to repentance, so that with the conviction of sin, we would relinquish its condemnation of death to the consuming fire of the Spirit of God. It is the Holy Spirit of God, that is One with the sanctifying Blood of Christ, Who convicts us of sin, so as to correct us from our old ways of death, even through the chastening of our flesh. With the chastening, Father God intends for the desire of sin that rules in this area of fleshly self conflict, to be abated. (See John 16 verse 4 thru 11.) In that God is healing us of our sins of the flesh, then the heart or soul is left pliable to the expansion of the cleansing Flood of Living Water that will spring up within repentant souls that are always being made alive by the Holy Spirit of the One God Almighty.
But if we say that we have no sin then we deceive ourselves and the Truth is not in us. If we say we have not sinned then we make Him to be a liar, and His Word is not in us. But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (See 1st John 1 verse 8 thru 10.) On the first day of the Feast of unleavened Bread, the Word of God Almighty, made the flesh of Man said to His faithful disciples: Take and eat, for this is My Body given for you. When they had eaten of the unleavened Bread of His Presence, Yeshua, the Christ of God said of the Cup of Blessing: Take and drink all of you, for this is My Blood of the New Covenant that is shed for many, for the remission of sin. (See Matthew 26 verse 26 thru 28.) For if we walk in the Light, as He is the Light, we have Communion/Koinonia/Fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin. (1st John 1 verse 7.)
Faith bears witness to the eternal facts of the Word of God, both the seen and the unseen. That which we have seen and heard, declare we unto you, that you also may have Koinonia with us: And truly our Koinonia is with the Father, and His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write unto you that your joy may be full. (See 1st John 1 verse 3 thru 4.) God's Spirit of Life was in Christ Jesus, and that same Holy Spirit raised the dead body of the Son of Man to the Eternal Life that the Promised Messiah had with His Father from the beginning. God's Holy Word, from before the beginning of the treasonous fall of man in the garden, would come into this world, born of the seed of the Woman of Adam, and as a man, born of His Father's Love, He would crush the head of the evil one, and in his resurrection power, He released the waiting prisoners who were held captive to sin and death. The darkness of sin and death, had met its match in the Light and Love of God that passes understanding. Had they known, the lords and princes that possessed this world would never have crucified the Lord of Glory. (See 1st Corinthians 2 verse 5 thru 15.)
The True Facts of God's Grace are perceived through one's Faith in Christ, so that we would all know that God's One Holy Spirit of resurrection Promise, would also come to indwell every faithful member of the Lord's One Body. So then, as saved living members in the One Body of Jesus Christ, how do we see and treat one another who are each born of the same Gift of Resurrection Faith of our Lord, Christ Jesus? Do we see, in each of the members of His Body, as the Lord Himself, and as one to love and serve as if unto the Lord? And yet again, how do you perceive the one, who may yet answer God's call to repentance, but because of our self conceived pride and prejudice, we are ignorant of the possibilities, seeing that we have forgotten what manner of person we are in our own flesh? Now in either case, that presupposes that the Spirit of Christ dwells within our own individual heart, and that the soul is receptive to the things of the Lord. Again, we can hear the Lord Jesus set the prerequisites for Life: If you Love Me, [then] keep My Commandments: And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter.
But be careful of your heart, for Paul warns us that God is not mocked: For if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him: (See Romans 8 verse 8 thru 10.) And again we hear Paul's warning: For if any man defile the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. If God's Love, with His Spirit's witness of His Son's sanctifying Covenant Blood, is missing in our lives, then we are sorely missing the leading of God's Holy Spirit, and the Fountain of Living Water being quenched, with the soul being shriveled up, and left dry as a desert.
It would be apparent in the New Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ, that the royal priests of God are all responsible for the cleansing maintenance of their own individual portion of the temple, for we, who are in Christ, are to be the dwelling place of God's Holy Spirit of Grace, Who leads us into all Righteousness. (See 1st Peter 2 verse 9 thru 10.)
