Consubstantiation is a doctrine that for our purposes, needs just a little
discussion, so we'll dispense with it quickly. It came out of the reformation
period, as an attempted philosophical answer for the disputed Roman Catholicism's
doctrine of transubstantiation. The borrowed doctrine is erroneously attributed
to Luther, and the Lutherans, whose thoughts bear some resemblance, but is
reported to be advocated earlier by the Catholic theologian
John Duns Scotus,
1266 - 1308. (See also the
Catholic Encyclopedia.) The doctrine suggests that the bread and the Body of Jesus coexist
together, and yet separate. Likewise, the same is said of the sacramental wine. The wine
remains the wine, except that the Blood of Jesus exist along side the wine.
The
English translation taken from Luther's small catechism, concerning Holy
Communion, states that: "It is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ,
in and under the bread and wine for us Christians to eat and to drink, instituted by
Christ Himself". This is what Luther writes in his treatise titled
"Confession Concerning Christ's Supper". "Why then should we not much more say
in the Supper, "This is my body", even though bread and body are two distinct
substances, and the word "this" indicates the bread? Here, too, out of two kinds
of objects, a union has taken place, which I shall call a "sacramental union",
because Christ's body and the bread, are given to us as a sacrament. This is not
a natural or personal union, as is the case with God and Christ".
Because of the ambiguities in the explanation of the mystery of
Holy Communion, many institutions, of the catholic or universal umbrella, fall
back on the summary terminology, of the unexplainable "Real Presence of
the Lord". The sacred mystery continues Ad infinitum! For
the Eternal WORD of God is not of a finite substance, but is of the
Substance of the Infinite, for even the Body of Christ was crucified
before the foundation of the world. The substance of the Infinite
WORD of God is relative to Holy, Holy, Holy Yahweh, Lord God Almighty's
Spirit of Grace. Faith is negated in listening to the fabrications
of finite men: But that your faith should not stand in the
wisdom of men, but in the Power of [the Infinite] God.
(See in context
1st Corinthians 2 verse 5 thru 10.)
I AM the Bread of Life: This is the Bread which comes down from heaven,
that a man man eat there of and not die. I AM the Bread which comes down
from heaven. (See
John 6 verse 46 thru 51.)
It is the Spirit (of Grace) that makes alive the flesh profits nothing.
The Words I speak unto you are Spirit and Life. (John
6 verse 63.)
The New Covenant
Salvation is by God's Spirit of Grace, and yet we do not see the Spirit
of Grace in the Water Baptism that initially separates us from our past sins.
Sanctification is by the Spirit of God, and yet we do not see God's Holy Spirit
of Grace in the Communion Water and Wine that is the Life Blood that
will cleanses
the humble person of faith, and
separates us from the guilt of known and as yet unknown sins. Both Salvation
and Sanctification are through God's Holy Spirit of Grace that is
One with God, His Word and the fountain of Water and Blood that
flowed from wounds of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man. God's Spirit of Life
is in our High
Priest Jesus Christ, and He alone is the only Covenant Mediator between
sinful man kind and Holy, Holy,
Holy Yahweh Lord God Almighty.

The Heretical Workings of Communion Unbelief.
If the reader
has not read John Calvin on his views on Holy Communion, but have depended on
filtered down hearsay, then you must click on the following link and read the
text taken from Calvin's "The
Institutes of the Christian Church". There are fifty sections
contained within this part of Calvin's treatise. In the text, Calvin's view points
on the significance of the 'Sacred Feast', as he rightly calls the Sacrament, will be
highlighted in green, as it references opinions
that I might agree with in principle, especially those concerning the holiness of the
Sacred
Supper. The red commentary within the text of the document will be mine. In the
search for the truth, you will find that for many evangelical fundamentalist
Christian leaders, there is a false understanding or interpretation of young John
Calvin's philosophical viewpoint on Holy Communion. Their common viewpoint,
is that the bread and wine are purely symbolic and have a physical substance and yet
lacking any spiritual connotation of Communion in the Body and Blood of Jesus
Christ: But this is not what John Calvin exclusively portrayed in his
writings.
Book 4, Chapter 17 Section 7.
"It is not
sufficient, while omitting all mention of flesh and blood, to recognize this
communion merely as spiritual. It is impossible fully to comprehend it in the
present life. I am not satisfied with the view of
those who, while acknowledging that we have some kind of communion with Christ,
only make us partakers of the Spirit, omitting all mention of flesh and blood.
As if it were said to no purpose at all, that his flesh is meat indeed, and his
blood is drink indeed; that we have no life unless we eat that flesh and drink
that blood; and so forth. Therefore, it is evident that full communion with
Christ goes beyond their description, which is too confined."
In the next
paragraph Calvin falsely demurs' with his disclaimer:
"If, indeed,
it be lawful to put this
into words, a mystery which I feel, and therefore
freely confess that , so far am I from wishing any
one to measure its sublimity by my feeble capacity.
Nay, I rather exhort my
readers not to confine their apprehension within those too narrow limits, but to
attempt to rise much higher than I can guide them. For whenever this
subject is considered, after I have done my utmost, I feel that I have spoken
far beneath its dignity. And though the mind is more powerful in thought than
the tongue in expression, it too is overcome and overwhelmed by the magnitude of
the subject. All then that remains is to break forth in admiration of the
mystery, which it is plain that the mind is inadequate to comprehend, or the
tongue to express. I will, however,
give a summary of my view as I best can, not doubting its truth, and therefore
trusting that it will not be disapproved by pious breasts."
Here is
another sample of Calvin's text,
Book 4, Chapter 17 Section 43:
"All this
mass of ceremonies being abandoned,
the sacrament might be
celebrated in the most becoming manner, if it were dispensed to the Church very
frequently, at least once a-week. The commencement should be with public
prayer; next, a sermon should be delivered: Then the minister, having placed
bread and wine on the table, should read the institution of the Supper. He
should next explain the promises, which are therein given; and, at the same
time, keep back from communion all those who are debarred by the prohibition of
the Lord. He should afterwards pray that the Lord, with the kindness with
which he has bestowed this sacred food upon us, would also form and instruct us
to receive it with faith and gratitude; and, as we are of ourselves unworthy,
would make us worthy of the feast by his mercy. Here, either a psalm
should be sung, or something read, while the faithful, in order, communicate at
the sacred feast, the minister breaking the bread, and giving it to the people. The Supper
being ended, an exhortation should be given to sincere faith, and confession of
faith, to charity, and lives becoming Christians. Lastly, thanks should be
offered, and the praises of God should be sung. This being done, the Church
should be dismissed in peace."
It is understandable that the substance of all of
Calvin's heated rhetoric on Holy Communion, was certainly less than definitive,
for he answered absolutely nothing
that would advance the human comprehension, of what Calvin calls the
great
mystery. Indeed, when all is said and done, then and now, if all
the rhetoric does not unify believers in the God's Word of TRUTH that is IN the Body of Jesus Christ, then whether it is John
Calvin, or I, or anyone else, we have all spoken far beneath the dignity of the
great
mystery that the Word of God provides only through His Faith in the
Living Substance of LIFE, which is not seen.
John Calvin produced a second writing on Communion in 1540, and was published in 1541.
Calvin
entitled the writing, "Short Treatise on the Supper of the Lord".
Philosophically,
when studying the entirety of Calvin's two writings on Communion, then the wise can see
that Calvin's adjusted finite mental understanding of the Communion Food of Christ Jesus, was not
dissimilar to Luther, and his association with consubstantiation, as witnessed in
John Calvin's, "Short
Treatise on the Supper of the Lord":
Section 16 to 17.
"Hence when we see the visible sign we must consider what it
represents, and by Whom it has been given us. The bread is given us to figure
the body of Jesus Christ, with command to eat it, and it is given us of God, Who
is certain and immutable truth. If God cannot deceive or lie, it follows that it
accomplishes all which it signifies. We must then truly receive in the Supper
the body and blood of Jesus Christ, since the Lord there represents to us the
communion of both. Were it otherwise, what could be meant by saying, that we eat
the bread and drink the wine as a sign that His body is our meat and His blood
our drink? If he gave us only bread and wine,
leaving the spiritual reality behind, would it not be under false colors that
this ordinance' had been instituted?
We must confess, then, that if the representation which
God gives us in the Supper is true, the internal substance of the sacrament
is conjoined with the visible signs; and as the bread is distributed
to us by the hand, so the body of Christ is communicated to us in order that we
may be made partakers of it. Though there should be nothing more, we have good
cause to be satisfied, when we understand that Jesus Christ gives us in the
Supper the proper substance of His body and blood:"
John Calvin did
OK in the
first 33 sections of his short treatise, proclaiming our need for frequent Communion
because of the Lord's Essential Presence and Essence in the Sanctified bread and wine. But thereafter, in
the following sections, Calvin errors
in his corrections of others, giving no peace, but confusion to the hearer of
Calvin's words. In the end of the treatise, Calvin's egotism gets in the way of his
attempt to be seen, as a peacemaker with sound wisdom. Later, in his
idolatrous hypocrisy,
Calvin persecutes, and then puts to death those who differ with him. It is tragically
sad to say, that the fiery
murder of Miguel Servetus, is a gross
contradiction to Calvin's beginning Communion theology contained within his
short treatise. The Lord
Jesus says: "You shall know them by their fruits". Those who arrogantly defend Calvin’s actions, have only one
defense against their error, and it cannot be ignorance.
If the
reader trusts in
the ideologue John Calvin, and the
whole of his theological doctrine, then let me suggest
Stefan Zweig's
5th chapter "The
Murder of Servetus". This atrocious matter, orchestrated at the hand's
of Calvin, is researched and documented within Zweig's
writings "Right to Heresy". The whole of Zweig's book is
well worth
the read.
Calvin's actions, similar to the Roman Catholic doctrines of
anathemas, belies the strength of his reformed writings. And the Apostle
Paul says: "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor
to the church of God: Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine
own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. Follow my example as
I follow Christ". (1st
Corinthians 10 verse 32 thru 33 and Chapter 11 verse 1.) If a
man follows in step with Jesus Christ, then it is right to be in step with
this man.
If the man falls out of step with the Lord our Righteousness, then the man is
guilty of his his own idolatrous sin, and may
loose his place of leadership; nevertheless we are to remain in full step with the Lord's
leading by His Way of the Cross, and of the Communion Blood of our testimony.
If we condone the sins of another, then we are guilty of those same sins, even as
the driver of the getaway vehicle in a robbery, is just as guilty as the person
that perpetrated the crime. Although the following verse, is a call to come
out of the Babylonian Church, and her harlot sisters, it is appropriate for our
contemplation. Come out of her My people that you be not
partakers [accomplices] of her sins, and that
you receive not of her plagues [judgments]. (See
Revelation
18 verse 4.)
Now on the other hand,
Huldreich Zwingli, a Swiss church
reformer of the 1500's, in the time of Calvin, was of the mindset that the Word's of
the Creator concerning the partaking of His Body and Blood, was strictly of a
symbolic gesture. This symbolic mindset of unbelief, concerning the Lord's
Communion Provisions, is seated as heresy in much of the present day Protestant Church. (See
error
Setting the Table.) Where the whole of scripture was concerned, Zwingli was
a supposed literalist, but concerning the Words, "This is My Body, and this is My Blood",
given by the WORD of God, the TRUTH Jesus Christ, then Zwingli is ambiguous and contradictory to his
original premise towards the use of literal Scripture. Zwingli builds on nothing of the
substance of faith that is set in the TRUTH'S Power as the Word of God, and unknowingly accepts the
deception of the serpent that was in the Garden of Eden.
Zwingli's intellectual pride
builds upon the question: "Did the Lord God really mean what He said"? Sorry! To me,
Zwingli's faith was very small, and
he believed in a small god, who was not sure of his own word. For a certainty,
Zwingli's small faith was not centered in the Almighty God, Who's WORD
created the universe, and is the WORD and The TRUTH of the
faithful God of the
Everlasting Covenant. The WORD of
God is declared in the heavens, and is not His Word written in Scripture that YHVH is able to confirm His WORD
with signs and wonders? (See
Mark 16 verse 20.) So then, where is the saving faith of the called
out people of God?
If the idolatry within the finite man of flesh prevented Zwingli from seeking the Eternal's TRUTH of this Holy Matter of Communion, then Zwingli's pride developed
his own truth. The fixed unbelief within the self centered man
would have prevented the privilege of witnessing and experienced the Divine Revelation, given to
living members with IN
the Lord's Body,
God's select call to His people of His Grace and Divine Purpose will expand the
TRUTH that is His Christ. See also this web link on, Huldreich Zwingli's
writings "On
the Lord's Supper".
Pontius Pilate, a practical man of the earth, and set by Rome, to be the
controlling governor of the people of Judea, questions the Lord at His trial.
In the end, Pilot murmurs to Jesus Christ, "What
is truth?" Little did Pontius Pilate know, that he had
come face to face with the embodiment of the absolute TRUTH of the universe, for
the TRUTH would be the final Judge of what
is true in the heart of man.
Did the Lord God really mean; "This is My Blood of the
New Covenant"? How do you judge what is the substance of TRUTH, and can the TRUTH
change the substance of all matter?
F
or by Him all Things Consist
If all things consist of the Infinite WORD of GOD, then how can
finite man change the Eternal WORD of GOD to have a symbolic meaning?
If we as believers, came face
to face with the TRUTH, how would we handle
Christ's Word of TRUTH, Who is the glorified WORD of His Father GOD, In our interpretation of Yahweh God's spoken WORD, would we
dismiss His WORD of Instruction as a simple metaphor that we wrestle with in our
mortal minds, or would we see with the Faith of Christ Jesus, His Power of TRUTH
to change the potential of all things He created into the Substance of His
Spoken TRUTH? How great is your God, or how great is
your faith in your God? Absolute Faith in God, reaches beyond human
limitations and understanding. The bread and the wine by themselves may have symbolism
as food and drink,
but symbolism without faith in the Word of God is left empty of the Life of the
Substance of
the TRUTH, for by Him all things in the universe consist of Christ's all
Powerful WORD. (See
Colossians 1 verse 14 thru 17.)
And the Lord Jesus Christ, the WORD of God said: "My Flesh is
real Food, and My Blood is real
Drink."
(John 6
verse 55.)
What do you do, when the TRUTH
tells you the TRUTH of His WORD. Can it be TRUTH when the Lord God of
Creation, says He is the True Bread that came down from heaven, to be made
the Flesh of Man/Adam? Is not the WORD of the Creator, by Whom all things
consist, exactly the TRUTH of His WORD that says of the Bread of Life:
Take and eat for this is MY Body given for you.
Christ Jesus is The Only Way of TRUTH
The cup of
blessing which we bless, is it not the Communion of the Blood of Christ?
The bread which we break, is it not the Communion of the Body of
Christ? For we being many are
one bread, and One Body: for we are all partakers of that
one bread. (1st
Corinthians 10 verse 16 thru 18.)
We place more faith in the paper
currency of a nation, than trusting in the Substance of the Word of God. You
can not serve God and mammon. The United States Dollar denominations are
symbolic of the unseen, or perceived wealth of the nation, and allow the consumer
to purchase tangible assets with the paper symbol. Among all nations in the
world's trading economy, the fiat paper and small coin currencies are
arbitrarily determined, depending on the supposed wealth of a nation's ability to
pay. Unfortunately, the fiat currency of the US Dollar, being the reserve
currency of the world, is money that is created
out of nothing, and is backed by nothing, being multiplied many times, as the US
debt and the consumer
debt continues to increase. Reference link
Money as Debt.
With the
potential failure of the banking system, perhaps we have the prelude to the mark of the beast,
666 which has already come upon us!
Now then, what is your perceived faith value in
the WORD of GOD, and the Son of God's ability to make good on His WORD? Is
His WORD arbitrary,
according to the word of man, or is it to be held at more than face value, with
faith in the Holy One, Who Promises Life according to His Eternal Power and
Authority?
U235 is the atomic symbol for an isotope of enriched Uranium ore. The
written numeric symbol will not affect or kill you, but the unseen gamma
radiation from the substance of the pure element, can bring about
morphological changes to the flesh of
those who are exposed to uranium U235's unseen lethal properties. If an
element is identified in truth as U235, and made known to you as U235, and you do
not understand or know what you are doing with the handling of that
specified rock, then it is highly conceivable that the unseen power of
that
metal may kill you. Consider for
your selves that Christ Jesus is the Rock, and we would do well to
handle the TRUTH of His Word with great care.
Setting aside the power
that is in the atom, there are many other illustrations that makes our point of
unseen power and authority. Can you see Satan or this entity's mastery
over the unseen
sin in the flesh of man? What about the symbolism of the flag of a nation, the badge of a peace
officer, the seal of a president, or any person of authority? Is there blind and
empty symbolism in a street stop sign, a traffic light, a grain of wheat,
The Tree of Life, a drop of blood, or the WORD of GOD, through the Holy Spirit
of God, Who is the Constant Power, and final Authority in His own created Universe?
Within the finite minds of blind Christian theologians, they present
a false construction of symbolism in Holy Communion,
leaving an anemic, if not an impotent metaphor, that fractures the
substance of holy faith within God's people. If the substance
of our faith, becomes undermined by the doctrinal ambiguities of men,
then that faith is less than holy faith, thereby challenging the
Infinite God and His Word of Power and dominion over all
things in His own creation. That anemic indoctrinated symbolic faith in
the substance of Holy Communion, fails to comprehend the just consequences to our
flesh, for not discerning the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. If the
Word's of our Lord are just symbolic, as applied to the bread and
wine, then the substance of Holy God's Words is not real, His Spirit is
not real, and the
universe does not exist. If the substance of the Word's of
Jesus Christ are not the real, absolute TRUTH, then the question
begs, why do the 'Communion Rite' at all? Indeed, some have
relegated 'Communion' to a basement position, pulling it out once a
year, perhaps at the Passover meal. Other religions have
Communion as a back seat religious rite, that is brought forward
quarterly, or at best once a month. Thus symbolism in Holy
Communion, as it is communicated among the many evangelical
Protestant religions, is not wise, for it is without the Light of
TRUTH, which is born of faith in the unseen spiritual power
and authority of the creative Word of God, imprinting and ruling
within the submissive heart of man. For he that eats and drinks
unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the
Lord's body. (In full context
1st Corinthians 11 verse 26 thru 30.)
Can it be that your faith, in the unseen Word of God, is like that
of Huldreich Zwingli and other early church reformers, that
repudiates that which it cannot see, taste or smell? The Evangelical
church, in its unbelief in the LIFE Blood of Jesus Christ, is
scattered to the four winds of the earth, having formulated their
doctrine around the pulpit preacher, and therefore have voided the
TRUTH of the Word of Jesus Christ concerning His Body and Blood of
unseen Infinite TRUTH. Woe to those who perpetuate their lie
from their pulpits-.
Therefore, the proponents of symbolism with in the fundamentalism of reformed
Protestantism, fail to fully discern the Body and Blood of Jesus
Christ, and to convey the Essential Substance of TRUTH that is One
with the Holy Spirit of Father God, and absolutely necessary for the collective
unity of all members within the One Body of our
Lord Jesus Christ. Ignorance of the Communion Body and
Covenant Blood of Jesus Christ, will not preclude the sinner from judgment,
for it is God's Gift of Faith that justifies the one who believes the TRUTH without
questioning the Gift of Yahweh God Almighty.
The New Covenant Salvation is by God's Spirit of Grace, and yet we
do not see the Spirit of Grace in the Water Baptism that initially
separates us from our past sins. Sanctification is also by the
Spirit of Holy God, and yet we do not see God's Holy Spirit of Grace in
the Communion Water and Wine that is the Life giving Blood that will
cleanses sin from the humble person of faith, and will assuage the guilt of
known and unknown sins. Both Salvation and Sanctification are
through God's Holy Spirit of Grace that is One with God, His Word
and the Fountain of Water and Blood that flowed from wounds of Jesus
Christ, the Incarnate Son of Man. God's Holy Spirit of Life is
IN our High
Priest Jesus Christ, and He alone is the only Covenant Mediator
between sinful man kind and Holy, Holy, Holy Yahweh Lord God
Almighty.

Transubstantiation.
Transubstantiation.
Over the centuries, the true meaning of the Lord's Words in Holy Communion, and
the substance of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, has been debated
through inquisitive human minds. Now, in spite of its initial good intentions of
protecting the Word's of Jesus Christ, it is unfortunate that
the finite mind's invention of
transubstantiation, became a Roman Catholic declared doctrine, through
their so called infallible Magisterium, thereby seemingly
appearing under the auspices of God. The Roman Church has established its binding dogma of
Transubstantiation, with curses for those who dispute its validity. The possibilities of transubstantiation, as a philosophical
explanation, for the bread and wine, being physically converted into the real
Body and real Blood of the Lord, in and of itself, is not
necessarily an exclusive problem with this dogma of the Roman Church. The definition of
transubstantiation, is a philosophical rationale at best, and it
certainly is not better than the other relative conjectures that
maintain the mystery in faith, without a forced methodology.
The secret things of God will remain within Him. (See
Deuteronomy
29 verse 29.) Therefore, our Faith, in God's Almighty
Salvation Word, should tend to give the
benefit of doubt, in the realm of the unknown, and does not
create unbelief in the WORD of GOD, thereby creating contention among the brethren. Unbelief, in the Word of God, is certainly a
problem for self determining flesh of man, and the difficulty makes no difference
for the new believer, or the elder in faith. As a means of
discipline within the Communal Body, the scriptures
certainly calls for the quarantining of a person, for ongoing gross sin, but not with judicial penalties imposed by
the church, or even threats of physical torture and death, as in times past. How remarkable it is, that through out the centuries, and
even today,
that the religions of the world have ruled by terror, or threats
of violence. Tragically, Christendom is no less culpable, seeing
that the fear of God, or rather the fear of the church, is taught through the doctrines of men.
God is faithful to His Word, and it is far better for a person to know and experience, through the Holy
Spirit of the Living God, the genuine freedom from sin's condemnation
that we have, when we submit to the Lord, and His
corrective Love. That
liberation of God's Love, through His Holy Spirit, flows through the soul and spirit of
a redeemed person, allowing them to experience
the Perfection of Love that surpasses human understanding. God's Holy Spirit, administers
God's Grace and Truth, which, alone, can satisfy the hungry and thirsty heart of
the saved. It is far better to just believe in the unseen Truth, just because the Lord of Scripture says it is so.
Justin Martyr, defending early
Christianity, writes: "We do not receive these as common bread or common
drink. But just as our Savior Jesus Christ was made flesh through the Word of
God, and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so also we have been taught
that the food, which has been eucharistized (the giving of thanks) by the word of prayer from Him, is
the Flesh and Blood of the incarnate Jesus". (Year 130 A.D. First Apology, 66:
section 2). And Justin Martyr is absolutely right, within his simple declaration of
faith.
Historically, as I understand it in a nutshell, the
philosophy of transubstantiation, was adopted in the middle
ages at the Fourth Lateran Council (1215). This happened several centuries prior to the religious reformation that
began to challenge the Pope and Roman Catholic authority to rule
infallibly in
divine matters of doctrine. In the beginning of the
reformation, Friar Martin Luther objected to the
Roman Church's authority, to issue indulgences purchased with money. In his
objections to the church's heretical position, it is reported that Luther nailed his ninety five
treatise to the Wittenberg church door in 1517, and then sent a copy and a letter of
explanation to
Pope Leo the Tenth. In any case, the document was printed
and then spread widely throughout Germany, and certainly came
into the hands of the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Church, then
through the auspices of the Emperor Charles V, and through the
deliberations at the Diet of
Worms, declared Martin Luther an outlaw. Despite
Charles' promise of safe conduct to and from the Diet, the Roman Church,
through the
Edict of Worms, unilaterally conspired to have Luther
arrested, and then killed, as a heretic and enemy of the Holy Roman
Empire. An earlier Church reformer priest,
Jan Hus, like
Luther, was also promised the same safe conduct in the
Council of
Constance 1415 thru 1418, but was captured and burned at the
stake on July 6th of the year 1415.
Luther started well in opposing the abuses of the Roman Catholic Church,
but it is quite questionable, as to whether some of his writings,
lectures and prejudicial judgments, in his latter years, ended as well as
they may have begun began. See
Luther's Anti-Semitic quotes,
and Against
the Rioting Peasants.
Nevertheless, as a result of Luther's initial challenge, to the Roman
Catholic Church's indulgences, the protestant reformation was ignited
throughout Europe. The Roman Catholic Church, in order to
circumvent the protestations against its authority, convened three
haphazard assemblies between the years 1545 and 1563, under three
different popes, and became known, as the
Council of Trent. During
the council assemblies, the Roman Church attempted to shore up the
abusive breaches, of their own making, and to clarify the doctrinal
abuses that the Latin Church was deemed responsible for, by the accusing
reformers. During this lengthy period of fits and starts, the
Roman Council of Trent at the
Thirteenth Session,
unilaterally ratified transubstantiation, as a definitive doctrine of the
Roman Church, and set fifteen anathemas to offset any unbelief in the
doctrine. Logically, yesterday and today, anyone who is, or was in
the church, and did not believe precisely in
the Roman Church's human speculations, is already anathematized many times over,
and out of the church, or under the threat of excommunication from their
declared only
true church; even though guilty still sit silently in the pews of the
sanctuary.
We will attempt to set forth are own spiritual contentions, that
would expose
the errors of Roman doctrine of transubstantiation
accordingly.
1. There is not a physical conversion by the Roman priest
of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ,
but there is an unseen spiritual reality based on the Infinite Oneness of
the WORD of GOD, Jesus Christ and His union with the Holy Spirit
of the Living God, Creator of all things. The Holy Spirit
of the Living God,
is One with the WORD of GOD, Jesus Christ, and therefore One
with the Serum Water and Blood that flowed from the side of
Jesus Christ. (See
1st John 5 verse
7 thru 8.)
2. The Roman Church has an error in their hermeneutics of
John 6, and therefore an error in their doctrine of
transubstantiation, concerning their distribution of the one kind
alone, to the faithful of the pews.
3. It is the Holy Spirit of God that ministers the New
Covenant Blood of Jesus Christ, for the remission of the sins of
the people in the Body of Jesus Christ. The greater
portion of our spiritual understanding of the mystery, can be found in
a previous chapter "The
Holy Spirit of Truth".
With our first disagreement over transubstantiation, we begin with the following excerpt
from the Council of Trent, the Thirteenth Session expressed in
red.
CHAPTER IV.
On Transubstantiation.
And because
that Christ, our Redeemer, declared that which He offered under the species of
bread to be truly His own body, therefore has it ever been a firm belief in the
Church of God, and this holy Synod doth now declare it anew, that, by the
consecration of the bread and of the wine, a conversion is made of the whole
substance of the bread into the substance of the body of Christ our Lord, and of
the whole substance of the wine into the substance of His blood; which
conversion is, by the holy Catholic Church, suitably and properly called
Transubstantiation.
The literal physicality of
transubstantiation of the bread and wine, into Jesus' physical Flesh
and His physical Blood, may not be exactly as our Lord Jesus Christ
would have us to perceive, concerning His Word of Truth. The
Roman Catholic's definitive doctrine of the miraculous
conversion by the priest, of the bread and wine into the Body
and Blood of Jesus Christ, within our limited understanding of
the present space time continuum, is just not sanguine to the
mind and sensibilities of the natural man, who taste only the
bread and the wine without any perception of a physical miracle. Also the philosophy of
the conversion of the bread and wine, by the Catholic priest only,
being bound altogether with the fifteen anathemas associated with the
Doctrine of Transubstantiation, are a legislative burden, too
heavy to be born by the heart of a child of God, accorded the
simplicity of the mystery of faith in the WORD of GOD. It
is by
God's Holy Spirit, in our union with God's faith that the elements
of the universe are what the WORD of GOD says they are, without
our philosophical reservations and dictums.
It is apparent to me, that the Infinite Majestic God, desiring
our faith to be within the constancy of His extraordinary Word
of Salvation, having been made the flesh and blood of Man/Adam, has taken the relativity of
our finite nature, and knowledge into consideration, and ruled
the flesh of the natural man out of the equation. It is
the Spirit that makes alive; the flesh profits nothing:
The Words that I speak unto you, They are Spirit and They are
Life. (John
6 verse 63.) The flesh of all mankind is already
corrupted, awaiting its final disposal. Only the soul and the spirit of the person
of faith, are
redeemed as one, in the new creation of God. The new creation
that now
lives by the faith of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, will by the
same Spirit of God that raised up the Son of Man from the dead,
be made alive in their bodies to serve the Living God. (See
Romans 8 verse 9 thru 14.)
The
philosophical error of transubstantiation was born out of the
controlling idolatrous flesh of man, and is as a broken cistern that does not hold the True Water that flows from the Fountain of
Living Water of God's Holy Spirit. Through the simplicity of faith,
we hold the Word of God to be self evident in that faith, for we
worship God in Spirit and Truth. It is
the real Flesh and the real Blood of Jesus Christ, and just as He
said, it is of the substance of the Spirit and Truth. The
problem in the mind of man, is that our mental conception of the substance of Spirit
and Truth, is lacking in knowledge of the Holy. Holy Communion is not what finite man sees,
and then eats only as bread and wine during the Lord's Supper,
but what the Infinite God of substance, space and time beholds, as the Word declared
Spiritual Flesh and
Blood of God's WORD and Son Jesus Christ. The Spirit and Truth
of Christ, is
firmly affixed in the heart and soul of obedient and believing
faith, through God's Holy Spirit of Life. And Scripture warns us,
concerning the Word of God, on this Holy Matter: For he that
eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to
himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
Understand that absolutely nothing is withheld from the eyes
of the Infinite, with Whom we have to do.
How
can we, in our finite capacity, understand Holy God Almighty's infinite
command of all substance that He has created, and which is held in
existence by the Excellency of His Word Jesus Christ, and
consist of the power of His Word? And most certainly, the elemental
substance of the very Flesh
and Blood of our Savior from the beginning of His existence on this earth,
originally consisted of the Word of God, for He was and is the
timeless Word
of God made incarnate as the Son of Man. The elements of the Lord's Covenant Blood
imprinted with His Soul, Spirit and even the physical genetics of His
human
body was poured into the earth,
and remains there according to John's Gospel, and referenced in His first Epistle.
The Lord's
resurrected Body, having never seen corruption, exist within the unknowable
dimensions of God's heavenly space and timelessness, and yet He is
not limited in any way to our confined space time continuum.
Our second rebuttal on
Transubstantiation, addresses the:
"DECREE
ON COMMUNION UNDER BOTH SPECIES, AND THE COMMUNION OF INFANTS"
Session 21.
The sacred
and holy, ocecumenical and general Synod of Trent,--lawfully assembled in the
Holy Ghost, the same Legates of the Apostolic See presiding therein,-whereas,
touching the tremendous and most holy sacrament of the Eucharist, there are in
divers places, by the most wicked artifices of the devil, spread abroad certain
monstrous errors, by reason of which, in some provinces, many are seen to have
departed from the faith and obedience of the Catholic Church, It has thought
fit, that what relates to communion under both species, and the communion of
infants, be in this place set forth. Wherefore It forbids all the faithful in
Christ to presume henceforth to believe, teach, or preach otherwise on these
matters, than is in these decrees explained and defined.
CHAPTER I.
That laymen and clerics, when not sacrifising, are not bound, of divine
right, to communion under both species.
Wherefore,
this holy Synod,--instructed by the Holy Spirit, who is the spirit of wisdom and
of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of godliness, and following the
judgment and usage of the Church itself,--declares and teaches, that laymen, and
clerics when not consecrating, are not obliged, by any divine precept, to
receive the sacrament of the Eucharist under both species ; and that neither can
it by any means be doubted, without injury to faith, that communion under either
species is sufficient for them unto salvation. For, although Christ, the
Lord, in the last supper, instituted and delivered to the apostles, this
venerable sacrament in the species of bread and wine; not therefore do that
institution and delivery tend thereunto, that all the faithful of Church be
bound, by the institution of the Lord, to receive both species. But neither
is it rightly gathered, from that discourse which is in the sixth of
John, however according to the various interpretations of holy Fathers and
Doctors it be understood, that the communion of both species was enjoined by
the Lord : for He who said; Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink
his blood, you shall not have life in you (v. 53/54), also said; He that eateth
this bread shall live for ever (v. 58/59); and He who said, He that eateth my
flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life (v. 54/55), also said; The
bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of (lie world (v. 51/52); and,
in fine,- He who said; He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, abideth in
me and I in him (v. 57), said, nevertheless; He that eateth this bread shall
live for ever (v. 58/59.)
The Lord Jesus said that His Word was Spirit and Life.
It is the Spirit that makes
alive, (your) flesh profits nothing:
the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they
are Life." (John
6 verse 63 thru 64.) For,
Faith is
perceiving as real fact, what is not revealed to the senses". (Hebrews
11 verse 1. amplified.) Through the revelation of faith, you can be certain that the Holy
Spirit of Truth, Who raised Jesus from the dead, has with God's Word, made the
sanctified Bread and Wine 'to be' for us the real Body, and the real sanctifying
Blood of Jesus Christ that gives Life to the Body of believers. The problem within the confusion
of searching finite minds, is we do not have the capacity to see
God's Holy Spirit of Truth administering the Truth, by the
Lord's multi-dimensional Words of Spirit and Truth, bringing forth the
Lord's Body members within the unleavened bread, and the wine, becoming the life
blood of Jesus Christ. Only the eyes of faith have the true perception of the
unfathomable Truth. The true spatial reality of the power of God's Word is not in
our observable plane of earthly reality, but is within God's dimensions, with infinite proportions
of Spiritual Truth and reality. The same Holy Spirit of God that raised
the Body of Jesus Christ to Life, is God's same Spirit of Holiness that gives
resurrection Life, in Holy Communion, to the members of the Body of Jesus
Christ, who eat in faith the Bread that is empowered by the Spirit of Life, that
is One with the Blood and Water of Christ Jesus.
Let's take a closer look at the Scriptures, cited by the
Roman Catholic Church for transubstantiation, and reason together, so as to ascertain the Truth of the Word of
God, and not Trent's eisegesis of expediency promoting the authority of the Roman
Church.
48 I
AM that Bread of Life. 49
Your
fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which
cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I
AM the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread,
he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among
themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Jesus said to them: "I tell you the truth, unless you eat
the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you have no Life in you.
54 Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him
up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is real food and My blood is real drink.
56 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
57 Just as
the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds
on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the Bread that came down from heaven.
Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this Bread will live
forever.
(John
6 verse 53 thru 58,)
Jesus
declares, within the whole
of His Persona of the I AM, that He is the Bread of Life that came down from Heaven
to give life to the world. In verse 52 we see that the Jews murmuring
among themselves, question the possibilities of eating the flesh of this man
Jesus. But Jesus amplifies His word to the Jew and to us, when the Lord
says in verse 53: "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the
flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you have no Life in you".
The Scripture in Leviticus makes the imperative distinction, instructing us that the life of the flesh is in the blood, and Jesus, as the
Son of Man, was made of the flesh of Man/Adam and that flesh was dependent upon the
Blood that contained the
Soul and Life of His Body.
The blood, which contained the life of all sacrificial
animals, was poured upon the dust
of the earth, and so was the Life Blood of Jesus Christ poured out upon the
earth, as God's ever living sacrifice for the sins of mankind. And Jesus
would say at the Passover Seder: Take and drink all of you. This is My Blood
of the New Covenant shed for many for the
remission of sin. Paul,
writing to the Corinthians, brings the absolute significance of the Blood
Covenant, to the forefront of our thinking, when he asks his first rhetorical question: The Cup of
Blessing, which we bless, is it not the Communion of the Blood of Christ?
Yes, absolutely, for the Blood of Jesus, with its Spirit of Life, is absolutely necessary for the Holy Life of the Body.
And then Paul follows with: The Bread, which we break, is it not the
Communion of the Body of Christ? Yes, absolutely, and the reason
being: For we being many are One Bread and One Body: For we are
all partakers of that One Bread.
In the old covenant, the Jew was to
identify with the sacrifice of the animal, and eat of the flesh of the beast, but
was not allowed to drink of the life blood of the beast, because that blood was
the life of the beast. Likewise in Christ, we identify with the sacrifice of the Bread of God, and partake of that One Bread,
whose members we are, but we are also commanded to drink of the Life Blood of Jesus Christ, given to us by God's Holy Spirit,
for in the Blood is the Life and Soul of our Savior . Wherefore, to remain
holy in the Body of the Lord, it is necessary, in our repentance, to partake of both the sanctified
Flesh and the Blood of our Savior, Who confirms this with His following Word:
verse56 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood, remains in Me, and I in him.
It is
recorded in Paul's Epistle writings that Jesus says: Do this
in remembrance of Me. So Paul reiterates in the Remember: For as often as you eat this bread, and
drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death [for our sins] till He
comes again? The Lord's physical Body was crucified for our sins,
for He was made to be sin for us, who knew no sin, and then on the cross, His Life
that was in His Blood
was poured out upon the dust of Calvary, to release us from our sins of our
selfish carnality.
That Holy
Life Blood, of the Son of Man, contained the Soul
with the Spirit of the Lord that was separated from His Body in death, and that
lifeless Body was entombed in the grave for three days and three nights.
But, God's Holy Spirit, Who is One with the Blood of Jesus Christ.
gloriously raised the Lord's body that was dead, to the Life of the Eternal
Spirit of God. By faith we were baptized into the Lord's death, and by faith, we
identify with His Body, and so we eat, and by faith, we remember that the Life of
the Body, is in the Blood, and so we drink of the Spirit of Life. Without the
flow of
the Spirit of the Blood of Christ Jesus, there is no life in a member of the body,
who has cut themselves off in unbelief.
The
Covenant is in the Blood, that gives Life to the Body of Christ, and not just in the
partaking of the flesh alone that is left without the Life of the Spirit of the Blood.
Know you not that you are the Temple of the HOLY SPIRIT. When we,
as members of the Body of Jesus Christ, partake of the flesh of the Son of Man, we are
each enjoined to each other in the
Communion Body, as members of the temple of the HOLY GHOST: But the Temple of
Holy God, has need of the sanctifying Life, of the Holy Blood
of Christ that cleanses each one of us from our confessed self idolatrous thoughts
and actions. Sin is like leaven in the dough, that puffs up and makes air
pockets in the finished bread, and so it is with the members in the Body of Christ, where we are
to be free of the leaven of sin that brings separation, and division, in that
which is One Body. If
we say we have no sin then we deceive ourselves and the Truth is not in us.
Sin begets death, and there is no Life in you, while you love your sin.
For the Life of the Spirit of Christ to be within you, you must forsake you sins of
death, and participate in the ecclesia, both in the eating of the flesh of
Jesus Christ, and drinking of the Spirit of His Blood of Life.
With the idolatrous self serving nature of man, you can not remain holy in the Body without
the sanctifying Blood of Jesus Christ, and the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT of God.
Verse 57, Just as the Father sent Me, and I
live by the Father, so the one who feeds on Me (my Life) shall live by Me.
The temple of Christ is made holy, by the
sanctifying Blood of Jesus
Christ, for He is the Living Sacrifice that ever makes
intercession, for the soul of the believer. Remember that the life of the flesh is in the blood. (See
The Crucible.)
By our statement of faith, and when we are initially immersed into the Water of Life, we each have shown ourselves to have been
Baptized into Christ's death for our sins, and have been given a reserved place, within
the Body of Jesus Christ, even the Bread of Life.
But even as the latent
virulence of sin, within the flesh can spiritually kill us, and
sets us apart from Holy, Holy, Holy God Almighty, so then God has provided in His New
Covenant the remediation of the Spirit of Life, Who
is one with the Blood of Jesus Christ, and in washing us, gives Life to that which is
dead in idolatrous sins and trespasses. Because we have renounced our sins of commission and omission,
those sins can no longer hold us in bondage, for in the Spirit of Truth and
Life, the Blood of the New Covenant in Christ, is ever efficacious for the
remittance of confessed sin. (See
Romans 6 verse 3 thru 7.) This is My Blood of
the New Covenant that is given for the
remission of the sins of the many.
The Power of the Life that is in the Blood of Jesus Christ, can not be presupposed, in the
people of His calling, as a license to continue to sin grossly. So then
because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My
Mouth. (See
Revelation 3 verse 14 thru 18.)
If there is only the One Holy Spirit residing in the many of
redeeming faith, then there can be only One Body, where each member
of justifying faith, resides within the Body of Jesus Christ, because of that One
Holy Faith in the Christ of God. (See
Ephesians 4 verse 4 thru 6.)
Why then do the problems of separatist dogmas in Christendom exist,
when there is only the one promised Bride of Christ within the Holy
Spirit? Those who do violence to her are without, and not of
the Body of Jesus Christ.
Again, seeing that it
is with the eyes of faith and trust in the Creator, then we conclude, from
the Spirit of Scripture, that God has left the real Flesh, and the
real Blood of His Son, as
rightly unperceivable to the perishing carnal mind of flesh.
For the Lord Jesus says: It is the Spirit that makes alive; the flesh profits
nothing: The Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life.
Therefore, with faith and trust in mind, there is
no need for a substantial change in the matter, or the literal morphological
transformation in the physical bread, into the Flesh and Blood of
Jesus Christ, as ascribed to, in the Roman
Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation. The Roman Church,
apart from their present doctrinal errors in the delivery of Communion to
the members of the Church, has grievous idolatrous errors in
their church doctrine. The church leadership needs to repent of
their gross antithetical errors, for the sake of the people that occupy their
pews. We will venture more into this matter in the latter chapters.
The New Covenant
Salvation is by God's Spirit of Grace, and yet we do not see the Spirit
of Grace in the Water Baptism that initially separates us from our past sins.
Sanctification is by the Spirit of God, and yet we do not see God's Holy Spirit
of Grace in the Communion Water and Wine that is the Life Blood that
will cleanses
the humble person of faith, and
separates us from guilt of known and unknown sins.

Discerning the Truth.
Discerning the Truth.
Come
let us reason together
Let God be True, and every man a liar.
(Romans
3 verse 4.)
Even in our best state of rebirth of the soul, the mind of man remains liable to the flesh
of self preserving will, and needs to be seen for what it is. Our fleshly minds will seek to conceal within us that we are liars to ourselves,
and to one another. Our human nature will hide the dark truth about
ourselves, but the Light of the Spirit of God will reveal our own hypocrisy, and
our desperate need for the continuing Mercy and Grace of the Living God. Those who say they
have no sin, make Holy God Almighty out to be a liar, and the Way of the Truth and
Life of the Word of God is not in
them. If we say that we have fellowship with the Truth of God, and walk in
the darkness of our minds, then we are the liars, and no part of the lying flesh
of man, comes
before the thrown room of God's Grace. We are held prisoners by our own
thoughts, and have need to repent, even daily, of our own hidden improprieties. (See
the cross and self denial in
Matthew 16 verse 24.)
Now, if we walk in the Light of Truth, as
Christ Jesus is the Light of His Eternal Father, then we have True Communion, one with another, and the
Blood of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of Man, cleanses us from all sin that is
of our flesh of self deception. (See
1st John 1 verse 5 thru 10.) Holy
Communion is an intimacy with the Spirit of Life and Grace in the Blood of Jesus Christ
that the Incarnate Son of Man shed for
the wholeness of His Body of believers.
However, in God's New Covenant those who presumptuously
continue in gross sin, are an affront to God's Holiness and tread on His Spirit
of Grace. The Holiness of the Eternal God is constant and unchangeable in
all time, as is witnessed in both the Old Covenant and New Covenant writings.
If unrepented wickedness becomes known to the congregation as being true, then unless
there is genuine repentance on the part of the confronted offender, then the leadership of
the congregation needs to put the iniquitous person out of the congregation, and
let God judge the flesh of the gross offender. Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,
says the Lord. (See
Numbers 15 verse 30, Deuteronomy 17 verse 12 thru 13,
Hebrews 10 verse 29 thru 31, 1st Corinthians 5 verse 11 thru 13.)
Also, in respect to God's Spirit of Truth, be very careful of the religious cults of
unbelief, where their teachers, teach from the knowledge of their fleshly minds,
and not in accord with the Wisdom of the Truth that is birthed in one's renewed
heart from the Holy Spirit of God. The teachers
of licentious unbelief, begets further like unbelief among their hearing constituents
of the pews, who with
itching ears, do not wish to be accountable for their own willful thoughts and actions. (See
2nd Timothy 4 verse 3 thru 4.)
Come now, let's reason together within the Spirit that
is
the Mind of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit of All Truth, speaks only of the Truth, and the Truth begets a true
faith, which does not limit the Almighty God within the yielded hearts and
minds of
those who have faith in the only Holy God of justice and mercy. God is
merciful and administers His Grace to those who acknowledge in humility their need for God's mercy, for He understands their ongoing
struggles with their own unruly flesh. The Spirit of God
has called His people of faith, out of their darkness, and into the
Light of His Son Jesus Christ, so that we all may be made partakers of God's
Holiness.
The Almighty God, and the Creator of the universe, is not limited within our space
time constraints, but is multidimensional, beyond our capacity to
understand. Our multidimensional Holy God Almighty, inhabits
eternity in a high and holy place, even beyond the confines of His created universe. But,
see
how marvelous it is for our sake, that the Infinitely Holy God, Who inhabits eternity, may also
at the same time, dwell within the hearts, of those of a contrite and
humble spirit. For he that puts his trust in Me, shall
possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain and shall say: Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way,
take up the stumbling
block out of the way of My people. For thus says the high and lofty One that
inhabits eternity, and whose Name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, and
also with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit; to revive the spirit of
the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (In
full context
Isaiah 57 verse 12 thru 21.)
The Word of Eternal Salvation, has come forth from our
extra-dimensional God, the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, to spiritually dwell within
the soul of the person, whose spirit and heart, is yielded to God's call for
repentance. Every heart and mind that desires fellowship with the Lord
God Almighty, needs to understand that God is absolutely Holy, and He does not
inhabit the sinful flesh of mankind, but He inhabits the reborn spiritual soul of the
person that understands their need for God's mercy. We are ignorant of the
power of the Word of God, and have little conception of His extra-dimensional
Presence that exists within, or without His created space and time. In
other words, God is not limited to our finite understanding of all that exist.
However, the Infinite God does not force His Holy will, or the knowledge of the
Holy, upon His unwilling subjects, but waits to see if they will willingly
answer His call, to return to Him, and to a new beginning in Christ Jesus. The affirmative
answering to the Word of God, gives a new birth with a new understanding
of the heart that begins to love their Creator, of unchangeable Holiness, above
all things. (See
Jeremiah 9 verse 23 thru 24.)
Listen to the
Apostle Peter's inspired
understanding of the Infinite:
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (2nd Peter 3
verse 8.) The Infinite God, Who created all things, is not subject to
time and space, but time and space is subject relative to the infinite God, and the
power of His creative Word. Why then, should the mystery
of Communion, with God's nurturing ministry to His Covenant people, be hindered by unbelief
in the Word of the Infinite? Why should the ignorant unbelief of supposed teachers of
faith, be a stumbling block, to a genuine faith in God, that says; All things are
possible to those who believe? (See
these scriptures.) If all things are
possible with God, then why follow in the footsteps of the teachers of unbelief
in the Sanctifying Blood Covenant within the everlasting Word of God.
Rather, we are called out of this world of darkness, and are to follow
the Way in the footsteps
of the Faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy One of God. Did not Christ
command the winds and the waters to obey Him? (See
Luke 8 verse 22 thru 25.) Perhaps,
you are like a doubting Thomas, who would say; Unless I taste of His flesh, and
taste of His Blood, I will not believe? Thus says the Lord of the harvest
of souls: My Words are Spirit and Life; the Flesh does not perceive. (John
6 verse 63.) Faith, that is of God's Spirit of Life, is seeded with the Words of Jesus Christ,
and the substance of the Spirit does not require a morphological change
in the substance of matter. The faithful believer, believes that the Word of Creation
is Truth, because the Christ of God is the Truth. By
the Faith of God, we believe that Jesus is the Manna that His Father sent down from heaven, to
give Life, through His Life Blood, to those souls that are lacking the Spirit
of Life?
The fallen flesh of our humanity argues in unbelief, to that which is spiritually
discerned. So then what say you of the state of your faith? Is the Word of God,
interpreted
only as symbolism; or is God's Supreme Standard of the Word of Truth, Jesus
Christ, speaking of the Spirit's True Substance of Truth, when He says: This is My Blood of the New
Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sin? By the Spirit of God, we say
that the Word sanctified unleavened bread and wine,
received in thanksgiving faith to God, would be of an undetectable, extra-dimensional nature; or, if you will
permit, of
a substantial spiritual nature of the real Flesh, and the real Life
sustaining Holy Life Blood of Jesus Christ, given by
the WORD of GOD, as One with God's Holy Spirit of Resurrection Life
and Grace,
being infused with the Infinite's Everlasting Spirit of Truth.
Previously, I have testified of having seen the
extra-dimensional
Sword of the Spirit, which is the Living Rhema Word of
God. I wonder what the first century writer of Hebrews had envisioned
of the Word of God, which compelled him to write thus: Let us labor therefore to
enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: But all things
are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do. Seeing
then that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
(See all of
Hebrews 4
verse 1
thru 14.)
How remarkable that the Spirit of the Word of God can separate the unseen,
extra-dimensional soul of man from the unseen spirit generated from the mind of man. Is it
any less remarkable that the elemental Blood, imprinted with the Soul of
Jesus Christ, remains active in the earth, even on God's Mercy Seat, like a spiritual catalyst to
enact changes in the earthly, being in obedience to the Spirit of
Christ's Word.
The Life Blood of God's Son of Salvation, came pouring forth from the
Body of the
Living Word, a fountain of Life, sealed with the Spirit of God.
The elemental nature of the Blood of the Son of Man, continues to remain
in the earth, as a witnessing testimony of Christ's sacrificial death,
speaking before God of His great Love
and Mercy for
mankind.
And to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the Blood of
sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel. See that
you refuse not Him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused Him,
Who spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from
Him that speaks from heaven:
(Hebrews 12
verse 24
thru 25.)
For we have not an High Priest, which cannot be touched with the
feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we
are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of
grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need.
(Hebrews
4 verse 15 thru 16.)
With a little wisdom, born of God's Faith, then we
continue to reason
that the receiving of God's Gift of Faith, held steadfast in the
holiness of the Words of Jesus Christ, is the real morphological, and unseen substance,
sealed in the the Blood of Jesus that permits
the Spirit of God's genesis Word to dwell within, and change the heart
that is today, the soul and spiritual mind of the believer that
temporarily dwells in an earthen vessel. The substance of that
Christ like faith, says that
all things are possible through God, the Giver of Life, Who Loves us
sacrificially, having given the Life giving Blood of His only begotten Son Jesus
the Christ, as the only possible ransom for our sin.
And so, this same Life Blood of Jesus the Christ of God, through the One
Holy Spirit of God, is available today in Holy Communion, to bring the spiritual substance
of God's Life and Love, to renew spiritually deadened hearts. Therefore,
an
unadulterated Faith birthed of God, sees that the WORD consecrated provisions of the
bread and wine, have the
real spiritual or dimensional substance of
the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sin, and for the healing of the soul, there by affecting the wholeness of the Lord's Body of Believers. Man does not live by
food sustenance alone, but by the spiritual substance of every
Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. (See
Matthew 4 verse 4 and Deuteronomy 8 verse 3.)
Beloved, let us Love one another, because Love is from God; everyone
who Loves, is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love,
does not know God, for God is Love. God's Love was revealed
among us in this way: God sent His only Son into the world, so
that we might live through Him. In this is Love, not that we loved
God, but that He Loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice
for our sins. Beloved, since God Loved us so much, we also ought
to Love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we Love one
another, God lives in us, and His Love is perfected in us.
(1st
John 4 verse 7 thru 21.)
In our mind of flesh, this Word concerning our
Communion with the Lord's Body of Flesh and Blood, can not be spiritually or
dimensionally determined by human definitions, just to satisfy our understanding.
Faith does not demand to see the evidence, but is trusting always in the One Who
promises Life abundantly within Himself. Within our own hearts and souls, the absolute evidence, espoused in Holy Communion, is encompassed by the
substance of our faith, centered unwaveringly in the ultra-dimensional power of
the Word (Logos) over the elemental of the earthly. God watches over His
Word to perform it through the oversight of His Holy
Spirit, and is present and actively involved in the transformation of the hearts
and minds of His people of simple faith. We are called to Love, and the
substance of God's Sacrificial Love, begins within the unseen substance of the reborn spiritual
heart of man, being one with his soul, and is made manifest outwardly, by our actions born in God's Love.
Therefore, wisdom’s discretion, would not be a party to the potential destruction,
of the relational faith of a child of God, to their God, with the arguing over
the oral substance that they consume in the expectancy of faith.
Now this weak brother, for whom Christ died, is
destroyed by your (presumed) knowledge. When you sin against your brothers in this
way, and wound their weak conscience, you sin
against Christ. Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to
fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause him
to fall.
(1st Corinthians 8
verse 11
thru 13.)
For the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit
of righteousness is sown in peace, by those who make peace. (James
3 verse 17 thru 18 NKJV.)
We can presume too much
philosophically, in what was
intellectually reasoned within finite minds that now becomes dogmatic error
against the knowledge of the Spirit of written Scripture. Such may be
the case with the above written thoughts of
Paul and James, when in actually we never get to the very heart of God, and the Spirit of His written
Word. Paul begins his subject on food with: Be careful, however, that the
exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. Paul
is basically speaking to the church at Corinth about this matter of faith and
knowledge. We will elaborate even further on the nature of flesh that
perceives its own good and evil. Not only can a
person's self supposed knowledge, destroy another person's faith, but also,
because of a lack of heart knowledge of God's Word, we can create impairment in a
person's child like faith, who is already in Communion with God's WORD. Be
careful in your opinions on Holy Communion that you not only inhibit another
person’s relationship with God, but find yourself not in freedom, but imprisoned
in your own self conceited knowledge. Whatsoever is not of the Faith of
Christ, is of sin.
Our Father God is supremely interested in the growth of a person's faith
in Christ,
that produces a trust that is centered in the heart of the WORD of GOD, Yeshuah Messiah. That
Faith will testify of the
real Life and Love that is Personified within God's Son, Jesus Christ.
God's Faith, is in His own Doctrine, as
espoused by His WORD made
flesh, and is constant within the unseen substance of Truth that formed
all of creation. God's Word is not diminished, just because man is ignorant
of other dimensions, which he can not see, or lacks belief in the spiritual substance
of what is written in the Scriptures. Thankfully, God is Patient, for while
we fear in
our ignorance, He waits to reveal the Glory of His Spirit, to those receptive
hearts that were prepared aforetime. O the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and
His ways past finding out! For who has known the Mind of the Lord? Or who has
been His counselor? Or who has first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed
unto him again? For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things:
To Whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Full Context
Romans 11 verse 29 thru 36.)
-
The following section should be especially noted in our minds.
Hopefully it will continue to give further
clarity to the reasons of faith, why Holy Communion should be set before us every
time we come together to worship God in Spirit and Truth. It is
absolutely True that
the Lord Jesus Christ shed His Holy Blood once, for all time for the sins of the World on
Calvary's cross, but He remains the Mediator before God of the New Covenant
of Grace that He inaugurated before time at the Passover Table. The
needful provisions of the Communion New Covenant Body and Blood of our
Savior is to be set before God's covenanted people, who through
their baptism into faith in Jesus Christ, desire to be set apart from the
sinful works of the flesh and to be in union with the soul
and mind of Christ our Lord. That sinless soul and mind of heart of Jesus Christ, is One
with the Father of Life, Light and Love, and God's desire is that the believers in
Jesus Christ would be of one heart with them through the sanctifying Blood
of our Savior.
Now the night before His crucifixion
and death, the sinless Lord Jesus is reclining at the table
with His faithful followers, all of which have the same weaknesses in their
flesh as you and I do. Because of the flesh of man, sin will inevitably display
itself in one way or another, and needs to be cleansed from our repentant hearts and
minds. Jesus Christ, the WORD of GOD, makes provision for our natural
inclinations to sin, so that we, through the Mercies and Grace of His Covenanted
Blood, may be at peace with God, with our fellow believers and within
ourselves. Through the Lord's Covenant Table, we can all come into the
remembrance, as to why Jesus Christ died for us sinners. Indeed, the communicants should know it was
because God first Loved us, in spite of our failures, and He desires that this Perfect Love of His Son, would be in
each of us. For in Truth, Jesus says: Be of good cheer little ones, for
I have overcome this world. This then is the Love of God that overcomes this sinful World, and enables us
to be united, as one in Jesus Christ. This is the Power of the Holy Spirit
that likewise empowers and sanctifies each one of us
through the Blood of Jesus Christ, to be over-comers in this world, showing forth the Glory of the only Lord God to
this lost World. For God has made
Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in Him. (2nd Corinthians 5
verse 21.)
Therefore, on the night before Jesus
Christ, the Lord of Glory and the Personified Love of God, absolutely
humbled Himself, and went to the cross to be made sin, for the sin of all humanity;
The
I AM,
that I AM,
Who is the absolute Truth, the Creator, the WORD with God, Who was
God, and brought the Universe into existence, and holds
all things together by the
power of His Word, took wine and after giving thanks to
Yahweh, His Father, for the
Fruit of the Vine, He opened HIS MOUTH
and from the abundance of His Heart, said: "This is My Blood
of the New Covenant, which is shed for
many for the remission of sin".
Our Lord, the Logos speaks Spirit (Rhema), for: "It is the Spirit
that makes alive, (your)
flesh profits nothing: the Words that I speak unto
you, They are Spirit, and They are Life." (John 6
verse 63.)
If the Breath of
all Life speaks, who will but listen? "Father that they may be one, as
Thou art in Me and I in Thee, that they may be one in Us;
so the world will know that Thou hast sent Me. For I have given unto
them the Words which Thou gave Me; and they have received them, and
known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that
Thou didst send Me.
(See the Lord's priestly prayer in
John
17.)
I will raise them up a Prophet
[Jesus Christ] from among their
brethren, like unto thee, and will put My Words in His mouth; and He
shall speak unto them all that I shall Command Him. And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My Words, which He shall
speak in My Name, I will require it of him (who will not hear).
(Deuteronomy 18 verse 18 thru 19.)
My Words, which He shall
speak in My Name, I will require it of the hearer. If Jesus Christ is the
expressed Word and Truth of God in flesh of Man,
then the translation in Greek to English in this holy matter, is not
mitigated, but amplified. When Yeshua, the True Bread of Heaven, says, "This is My", He is
not saying this is symbolic of, or representative of My Body and
Blood. He is stating with His
Father's Authority, the absolute Truth, for He is the Absolute
Personification of Truth, even the I AM that I AM, and Creator of all
substance, seen and unseen. For He is the image of the
invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were
created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have
been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and
in Him all things hold together.
(Colossians 1
verse 15
thru 17.)
The Apostle Paul, within his heart expanding writings to
the church at Corinth, is responding to the general apathy of the church.
Paul's rhetorical question is answered within the Holy Spirit's Presence
within the questions: "The cup of blessing,
which we bless, is it not the Communion
of the Blood of Christ?", "The bread, which we
break, is it not
the Communion [fellowship] of the Body of Christ?" (1st Corinthians
10 verse 15 thru 17.)
The real unseen substance of His Word and Person, is the
unseen substance of the Father's Love, for God is Love and manifested
His Love (Agapao) toward us in His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus. His Majesty's
Word, through His Holy Spirit, holds power over the substance of His
creation, and also His provisions in the unseen substance of Faith, that
is received in faith. What is the substance of Love, and can you
see it? What or who is the substance of your faith? What is the
substance of a soul? How great is your God? And Jesus ask
today in a non rhetorical question;
"Who do you say that I AM?"

What is the meaning of
this "IS"
So what -- is -- the
definition of IS?
I and My Father are One.
Unbelief in the Lord's Word of Power within Holy Communion is taught
to the people of the pews by the paid preachers of the pulpit. The confusion is tragic for so
many souls that have come to believe in the Covenant Word of God, but whose
minds are held
in bondage to their past and present sins of the flesh. The
quandary of guilt lies in the laps of the religious philosophers or pastors of yesterday
and today who, in their cultivated unbelief, defines the Lord's
Communion in heretical terms of what his or her finite mind, thinks that Jesus Christ meant, rather than what the Christ of
the Infinite God defines with
His Infinite Word of Truth. Jesus Christ, the Truth of God's Covenant Word
states absolutely that: Unless you eat of the Flesh of the Son
of Man and drink His Blood, you have no Life within you.
(See
John 6 verse 53 verse 55.)
It is not wise to parse the Infinite Words of Jesus Christ to suit the
ignorance of the finite.
I will raise them up
a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (Moses), and will
put My Words in His Mouth, and He shall speak unto them all that
I shall command Him. And it shall come to pass that whosoever will
not hearken unto My Words which He shall speak in My Name, I will
require it of him. (See
Deuteronomy 18 verse 15 thru 19. also Peter's
verification in Acts 3 verse 22 thru 23.)
The tentacles of sin within our flesh, can have a strangle hold around
our necks, choking off the flow of the Breath of Life that is from the
Spirit of God. In this matter of God's Covenant Truth, the
contrived words of human kind are grievously flawed, playing into the
hands of Satan, the master of creating disunity among believers.
The confusion in human semantics, verily denies the Truth of the Word of God that stands forever.
The Words that I speak, They are Spirit and They are Life. But
there are some of you that do not believe. (See
John
6 verse 63 verse 64.) In God's Covenant of Grace
and Truth,
it is through the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, that Holy God Almighty
has provided the Provisions of His Grace in the Body and the Covenant Blood
of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ that releases the captive mind from
the satanic powers of sin and death. I AM the Vine, you are the
branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same
brings forth much fruit: For without Me you can do nothing.
(See
John 15 verse 1 thru 8.) I and My Father are One.
Without abiding in the absolute Truth of the Vine, then the Spirit of
Truth and the Life of the Vine ceases to flow to its branches, and the
branches wither and fall away.
Witness: That after giving thanks to His Father God, the
Unleavened Bread of Heaven, born the Son of Man, and being the Christ of
God,
said at the Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread: Take and eat: This
is
My Body given for you. Jesus,
the Unleavened Bread of Heaven, being
One with the Spirit of God, did not say take and eat the bread or
eat the element.
No, the Son of Man and the Christ of God was the Unleavened Bread of
heaven that God sacrificially gave to redeem human kind from their sin
and death. Should not those that are saved
by God's Salvation Gift of Faith in Christ Jesus, now eat in faith of the
unleavened Bread of Heaven and His unifying
Body of unleavened Flesh that is of the sinless incarnate Son of Man?
Witness again: The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus sets the saved apart from this world of sin and death,
through the sanctifying Blood of the incarnate Son of Man. After Jesus gave thanks to His Father Yahweh God
for His creation of the fruit of the vine, then the
Word of God said: Drink all of
you: For this
IS
My Blood of the New
Covenant, which
is shed for many for the remission of sin. Christ Jesus
the Life of the True Vine, did not say, drink the juice or even mention
drinking the wine, but the Word of God declared that that which His
disciples
would drink, is
His Blood of the New Covenant, shed for many for the remission of the sins of His
Covenant people. If we say that we have no sin, then we are
deceived, and His Word and His Truth is not in us. (See
1st John 1 verse 8 thru 10.) Who
then is the liar?
Who then is your master?
I speak as to wise men; Judge you all what I say. The Cup of
Blessing which we bless, is it not the Communion of the Blood of Christ?
The (Unleavened) Bread which we break, is it not the Communion of the Body of Christ? For we being many are
One Bread, and One Body: For we are all partakers
of that One (Unleavened) Bread. (1st
Corinthians 10 verse 15 thru 17.)
The word
“is”, in Greek is “esti”: Third
Person, singular. Definition: present; “to be”: and has a root in
“eimi”:
First Person, singular, present: meaning, “to exist”; “is present”.
The "I
AM" in the Gospel of John, references the deity of Jesus
Christ, as EGO EIMI, in the Greek, having a meaning of I Will Be.
Therefore the EGO EIMI says to me, 'I Will Be what I Will Be'. For you of little faith and lost in
sin, I Will Be your drink offering unto GOD! He that drinks of
My LifeBlood will never thirst! I
Will Be your Redeemer; I Will Be your Savior from sin,
hell, death and the grave! I Will Be gracious to whom I
Will Be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. For the Life Blood of Jesus testifies: I
will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from
death: "O Death, “I Will Be your plague; Oh grave,
I Will Be thy destruction”.
(See
Hosea 13
verse 14.)
But "In Judgment, I
Will Be a
swift witness against the sorcerers, and I Will Be a swift
witness against the adulterers, and I Will Be a swift witness
against false swearers, and I Will Be
a swift witness against those that oppress the hireling in his wages,
the widow, and the fatherless, and I Will Be a swift witness
against those that turn aside the stranger from his right, and I Will
Be a swift witness against those that fear not Me,
says the Lord of Host”.
(See
Malachi 3
verse 5.) (The Word of God amplified.)
And, for you that hunger for righteousness, I Will Be
the Bread of Life, for I AM that “EGO EIMI”, the Bread of Life! He that
comes to Me will never hunger! I Will Be your Eternal Provider
and Sustainer. Though the winds of adversity come against you, I
Will
Be your Shield and Defender, and if you fall, I Will Be
merciful, and I Will Be there to lift you up, and I Will Be
your Healer. I Will Be your Servant, and I Will Be in the
heart of My people. For you, I Will Be that Agape/Love that passes
all understanding. "I Will Be a Father to you, and you will be
My
sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." I AM that “EGO EIMI”,
and "to be" WISDOM for you.
“Drink all of you, for This
is My Blood of the New Covenant that
is shed for
many for the remission of sins”: This is a very heavy straightforward word in its hearing in the ear
of flesh. Even so, for the hearts of faith, it is far better to
amplify the True meaning of the
Word, as the 'Blood' and the 'Body' of our Lord Jesus Christ, rather than to
timidly negate the
Holy Spirit's Gracious Power with terms of irrelevancy, such as symbolic or
elements. If the latter is done, then the Holy Spirit of Grace is grieved,
and the Fountain of Living Water will not flow in such unbelief.
The Prideful Impersonal Spin of Semantics.
Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before
God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins
those who listen.
(In full context
2nd Timothy 2 verse 11 thru 16.)
It is not finite man's doctrine, that sets the agenda for
the salvation and sanctification of sinful mankind. No! This IS
the Infinite's Doctrine
for the Salvation of the dead in sin, and belongs to the
infinite God alone. God desires to abundantly pardon repentant
sinners, and with His Spirit's work through the Blood of Christ Jesus,
the saved are cleansed from the works of death, so that the Lord God of the Living would commune within the hearts of
of His people
for the sake of His Spirit and the Truth of His WORD made the Flesh of Man/Adam.
But even though we may have prayed a prayer to be saved, we inevitably return to
the ways of idolatrous flesh, and are forgetful that we are accountable
to God and His Covenant Word. That Covenant WORD of GOD is, Jesus
Christ the Son of Man, Who was
dead and overcame our sin's of death, and is now alive forevermore, and
is the Executor of His
Kingdom Estate of the Living. (See
Hebrews
9 verse 14 thru 17.) We, who were dead in our sins and trespasses, are
called into the remembrance of Christ's death and resurrection, so that
we would overcome the works of sin that demands death, and to
participate fully in the Lord's Kingdom of Abundant Life.
So with repentance
from sin that so easily entraps us, it
is up to the whole of the spiritually minded church
to remember that God's cleansing Grace for acknowledged sin, is in our
receiving of the Word Commemorated New Covenant Communion
Blood that the Lord Jesus Christ inaugurated
at His Last Passover Supper of Unleavened Bread. The Word of God, Jesus Christ, declared to His
disciples that the Communion (Fellowship)
Blood, is the same
Blood that He shed, when He would
be lifted up on a cross for the payment of mankind's sins. The Word and Sustainer of Life,
has established His Doctrine of the Spirit of Life in the New
Testament Provisions for Life saying: “This,
is My
Blood of the New Covenant, which,
is shed for
many for the remission of sin”. (Mark 14 verse 24).
Jesus
said to the nay sayers of that day, and any day: "My Doctrine is not Mine, but of
His that has sent Me. If any man will do His Will, he shall know of the
Doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself."
(John
7 verse 16.) Truly, Truly I say unto you: Except
you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood, you have no
Life in you!
(John 6 verse 53.) We
argue in the flesh of our minds over what we think that the substance of
Communion is, and fail to understand in the heart of our thoughts, that
in the Communion Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, God is providing His Love/Agapao
in the One Holy Spirit of the Father and Son that allows the members of His
Covenant to enter together as One with the same Holy Spirit of God, into the Almighty's Holy Presence.
The corrupted flesh and blood of human kind does not enter into the
Kingdom of God, but it is the redeemed soul, purchased by the Blood of
Jesus Christ that has an entrance into Father Yahweh's Presence.
God does not change in any aspect of His all encompassing Holiness, but
in Holy Communion, Yahweh God is giving to us the intimacy of His heart
that is accorded to His beloved Son. Holy Father; Thou hast Loved them, as Thou hast Loved Me.
(See
John 17 verse 23.)
Truly, it
is the priest in the pews, each being the temple of the Holy Spirit, who
desiring to be in Communion with the I AM THAT EGO EIMI and His
Supreme Sacrifice of Love, consecrates within themselves, the Master's Words of
Salvation remembrance, of the eternal prescription for Life that is within God's
Eternal Son. When I initially wrote this addendum, the Spirit of God said
to me that His 'Word' is in that consecrated Bread and that Wine. The
Spirit of God is confirming His Word of Covenant Truth that He gave as a
Sacrifice of His Love. The
substance of God's Word holds the universe together with the Spirit of His Word. The
Truth of God’s Word and Spirit permeates the time and space of the bread and the wine,
to be for us the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, for
nothing exist in God's universe without the Truth of the Christ of God. Yeshuah is the Truth, and His Word
and Son of Truth
holds power over all substance that exist in Almighty God's universe.
How the individual, personally
would receive or reject that Word consecrated Unleavened Bread
and the Fruit of the Vine, is a very serious matter between the flesh and
the spirit of that person, and the Spirit of God.
For whoever is ashamed of Me and · My words in this adulterous and
sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He
comes in the glory of His Father with His holy angels. (Mark
8 verse 38.)
As the priest of God's
temple, we each are responsible for the sanctity of our souls in which
the Holy Spirit of Truth would reside.
Grace and peace be multiplied
unto you through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, according as His
divine power has given unto us all things, that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of Him, that has called us to glory and virtue. (2nd Peter
1 verse 2 thru 3.)

The Witness of God is Greater.
The Witness of God is greater.
Please, make --- no --- further
mistake, for I know that I speak to the wise in heart! Most assuredly, just as
the Decalogue of Commandments is a spiritual force, too exacerbate the
knowledge of the corrupting law of sin and death within our mind of flesh, so then is the New Covenant
Blood of Jesus Christ, through the
Eternal Spirit of Holy Communion, actively alive and declared 'to
be' the Living Sacrifice for the
remission of sin. The Holy Spirit of God
is Eternal Life, and Jesus Christ is alive because Eternal Life resides
within Him. Because Eternal Life resides within Christ Jesus, as
the incarnate Son of Man, then the Holy Spirit of God is One with the
Water and the Blood of God's Eternal Word and Son. The Fountain of
Living Water has not ceased to flow from God's thrown room, where His
Holy Spirit administers the mediating Grace that is in Christ Jesus, the Son of
Adam/Man and the Son of God.
The Covenant
Blood of Jesus Christ through Holy Communion,
is the Spirit of God's Holy Provision that continually provides the fullness of God's spiritual
immune force from the Life of His incarnate Son, to forgive, ameliorate and vanquish sin in the conscience of the
(mind or spirit) of the Covenant person, thereby refreshing the soul of the repentant believer.
Sin shall not hold us captive to death, for Christ Jesus has vanquished
sin's hold with His resurrection from the dead.
We who are saved by the Grace of God, are made to be more than a conquer, and a living sacrifice in Jesus Christ.
We are called to be God's Ambassadors to Life learning to
serve our Holy God in a more perfect love, revealing to the world of God's Love
and Mercy that He gives as a gift to those who believe in His victorious Son, Jesus Christ. The Lord
Jesus Christ, the Son of Adam gave His Holy Life in His
Blood, that was poured out on this earth, as a perfect sacrifice to atone for
the sins of our death: And now Holy God Almighty, desiring to be in Communion with us, has provided His offering of the
sanctifying Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ as His Antidote of
Perfect Love, which cancels out our confessed sins that had required the
debt of
death.
"What shall we say then? Shall we
continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we
that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know you not, that every
one of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were
baptized into His death? (See
Roman's
6 verse 1 thru 7.)
The provisions of God's New Covenant
for renewal and revival of the soul and spirit of man, is maintained trough the Holy Spirit of Truth, and is
actuated by one's faith within the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. While a person yet lives in this
earthly body, the necessity for
believers to receive of God's Covenant Grace in the Communion Blood of Jesus Christ
in worship, will always remain essential for God's covering of the unredeemed flesh, of all the
members of the Body of Jesus Christ. That covering in the Blood of our Savior
through the Holy Spirit, is a covering of God's Perfect Love and Righteousness, which is lacking in our
corrupted flesh. For if we are honest with our selves, even in our best
spiritual state, our old earthly nature is one that desires to commend ourselves
to ourselves and others, as good in our professed spirituality; and in our self
blinded perversion, prevents us from seeing ourselves, as we truly are. Our
perception of ourselves, is jaded with the sin that is innate to
self serving flesh,
whereby the Apostle Paul, in knowing the truth about himself, laments: Who shall
save me from this body of death. Even with the disciplined daily
denials of our selves and the carrying of the cross, we are all helpless to the
demands of the flesh, apart from faith in the cleansing
Blood and Serum Water of the Holy Spirit of God.
The flesh of our humanity would save ourselves, to save our selves. So
then, no matter how we perceive ourselves, we are never justified in our old
idolatrous self serving flesh, but are justified only in the New Covenant Life
Blood of Jesus Christ, the death conquering Incarnate Son of Man: For Jesus, the
Word of God, was sent by His Father, to be sacrificed on the cross for the
propitiation of our sins, and also for the sins of the whole world. How much more then, will the
Blood of Christ, Who through the
Eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our
consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the
living God!
(Hebrews 9 verse 14. NIV.) For It pleased God to make
absolute fullness reside in Him, and by Jesus Christ reconcile
all things unto His Person, whether they be things in earth, or
things in heaven, having made peace through the
blood of His cross. You yourselves were once alienated from Him:
You nourished hostility in your hearts, because of your evil
deeds. But now, Christ has achieved reconciliation for you in His
mortal Body, by dying, so as to present you to God holy, free of
reproach and blameless. (Colossians
1 verse 19 thru 22.)
Even as the whole blood with its white blood cells
and antibodies, fights against all foreign invasions that are alien to the
genetics of the body of flesh, so then also our fellowship in the Righteous Holy Blood of Jesus
Christ will bring to an end, within the yielded soul, the bondage of sin and death
that is totally foreign to the Holy, Holy, Holy Presence of God Almighty. Our
Holy God is a consuming fire, and no doubt, the New Covenant sanctifying process
that we are in
agreement with, will be unsettling to the flesh through a cleansing fire,
administered by the
Holy Spirit of the Word of God. In God's Holy Spirit Fire, the corrupting weeds, briar and bramble
bushes of our fleshly life, are consumed in His jealous Love for the chaste
Bride that Christ Jesus is coming to claim in the final day of redemption.
Our frequent submission to the Fellowship Blood of Jesus Christ, through the Holy
Spirit of God, is an imperative for a holy life; For if we say that we have no
sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is not in us; and if we say that we
have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
As redeemed souls
that are to be living within the Body of Christ Jesus, the Ecclesia should come together
as one in Holy
Communion in true repentance, and then with Holy Spirit faith we would be renewed
in God's Covenant of Grace.
Life is such that from the last occasion of collective
Communion, we all have current varying dark thoughts and wayward actions of our
individualistic old man, and the evidence either ways on our souls or produces
negative results. But now, with repentance and the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ, our trespasses are
being cancelled out, and written over with the Lord's sacrificial Life Blood, that
says we are of the beloved children of God. In all instances of our Thanksgiving
Communion with God through His Holy Spirit, we are being made free to worship
in the presence of Holy, Holy, Holy God
in Spirit and Truth. The fallen flesh of man is covered over from the eyes of God,
for the Holy Life in the Blood of His risen Son Jesus Christ, is in the forefront of our
relationship to the Almighty.
The I-dolatrous
self-serving nature of sin, with its perverted judgment and acceptance of
wickedness within ourselves and others, can not exist in the Body of
Jesus Christ, for the turning away from wickedness is an absolute with God.
(See
2nd Timothy 2 verse 19.) Neither can un-forgiveness,
nor the unrighteous condemnation of others find a
place in the Body of Jesus Christ, for in our
flesh we all remain sinners, dependent upon the cleansing Grace of God that
washes the spirit of our minds, in the Serum Water of the Word of God through
His
Holy Spirit. True preparation of our hearts through the Spirit of the Word
of God, is necessary for us to enter into the inner Holy chambers of Holy, Holy,
Holy Father God
Almighty. (See
1st Corinthians 11 verse 26 thru 30.) The renewing cleansing Grace of God's Holy Spirit, is given to us
in Holy Communion, according to our unity in the ecclesia, and in our faith in the fullness of the cleansing Life Blood of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit's New Covenant whole Blood of Jesus Christ
washes, and sets at liberty the spirit of our minds from the encumbrances of
selfish idolatrous flesh.
Jesus Christ, Who condemned our sin in His human flesh says: I AM the
Way, the Truth, and the Life: No man comes to the Father except by Me. If earthly flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God, then it is
impossible for the corruption of selfish flesh, to presumptuously come into the
presence of such a Holy God. (See
1st Corinthians 15 verse 50.) Except
for
God's Holy Spirit's covering
the flesh of sinful man, with the atoning Holy Blood of the Son of Man Jesus Christ, there is no entrance for man into the Holy
of Holies, and into the presence of the God of all holiness. Since it is written
that no flesh shall glory in the presence of Holy, Holy, Holy God Almighty, then
it is not possible to individually or collectively worship Father God in Spirit and Truth,
without the cleansing Blood of the New Covenant. (See
1st
Corinthians 1 verse 29.)
At best, many church communities remain in
the outer court, where the pulpit replaces the altar. And then there are the
other churches, who are moved to the altar, but in their own tradition and
cultural expediency, never fully enter into the Holiest Place, where Holy, Holy, Holy
Father God awaits to receive His children, who are born of the Seed of His Word
through Faith in the cleansing New
Covenant Life Blood of His Son.
God's Holy Spirit of Life has come to dwell with believers, to bear witness of the Truth of God's Love
to mankind, and God's merciful forgiveness for our sins through the covering shed Blood of
God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. If the Blood of Jesus Christ is denied
as Truth in Holy Communion, then the Holy Spirit, Who is One with that New
Covenant Blood of Christ, is also denied and the Spirit of the Word of God is
quenched. (See
Hebrews 10 verse 29 .) Even
now, can you not hear the WORD of GOD our Lord Jesus Christ speaking of
His Father's doctrinal Truth? "This is My Blood of the New
Covenant shed for many for the remission of sin". "Do this in remembrance of
Me." "The Word's I speak to you they are Spirit and They are Life". "My doctrine is not Mine, but His that sent Me". "Truly,
truly I say unto you, except you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man,
and
drink His Blood, you have not Life in you. He that eats My
Flesh, and drinks My Blood, dwells in Me, and I in him". "Whoso eats
My flesh, and drinks My Blood, has eternal Life; and I will raise him up
at the last day".
If a person believes
the Truth of the Word's of Jesus Christ, then they need to say in confidence that the
unleavened Bread and the Communion wine and water, coming from earthly means, is sanctified by our
One Covenant agreement with the Word of the indwelling
Holy Spirit of God. The Truth, of the Spirit of the Word of God, sanctifies
the elemental of the earth to be for us the real Body of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and His real Life giving Blood of the New Covenant, is being applied to our hearts
and minds according to the measure of faith.
Even though our faith may be weak, that
little faith is in union with the Holy Spirit's Supreme Covenant Faith in the
Word of God, and is delivered to us, as promised, according to the unfailing
Faith of Jesus Christ in His Father's doctrine. So then, if we have
covenanted with God Almighty, then it is the strength of His Son's Covenant Faith,
Love and Righteousness before His Holy Father God, in exchange for our little faith, little
love and unrighteousness. God's grace, for the sin's of mankind, is
mediated only in the supreme sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and the
eternal provisions of the Body and Blood of God's Christ, are mediated through
His Holy Spirit of Truth.
Now then, there is no Godly reason for a person who
has covenanted in faith with God, through the Blood of Jesus Christ,
to remain encumbered with the guilt and weight of their confessed sin and failures in the
flesh: For in Father God's Love, His sure Mercy will flow to our souls and minds,
with
the remission of confessed sin through His Son's Blood, and bring about a promised
cleansing and purging of sin according to our submission to the Will of His
Word. If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, then we have fellowship
one with another and the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son cleanses us from all
sin. (See
1st John 1 verse 5 thru 10.) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the
Love of God, and the
Communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2nd Corinthians 13
verse 14.)
The following chapters will look at the visionary dreams
on Communion within God's Covenant, to see if they conform to the Word
of God that speaks of the unity of the people of God in the Body of
Jesus Christ. In our minds of flesh we have difficulties seeing
ourselves as members of one another in the Holy Body of Jesus Christ our
Savior.
