Counter Balance

Paul, after he addresses the gentile believers as being wild olive branches, and were grafted into the Holy LIFE of Christ, implores them:  

Therefore brethren, I beseech you by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. ^{(See Romans 12 verse 1 thru 2.)} 

Yeshua, Jesus the Man, presented Himself as a Peace Offering to His Father Yahweh God, and Christ's Peace Offering went far beyond the requirements written in the Torah.  Our principle concern begins with Adam, the created first Man and created 'son' of God, and his rebellion against his Maker Elohim that set him at odds with His benevolent Maker.  Adam's mind was twisted by the deceiver Satan, and then Adam unwittingly chose sin and death in spite of Yahweh Elohim's warnings to keep away from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But the only Begotten 'Son' of Yahweh God, Yeshua haMashiach offered His sinless Body as a Wave Offering of Peace rather than a random blessing from Yahweh  God. In the Hebrew Language, the Presentation Wave Offering is a Peace Offering to Yahweh God that is called Chagigah.

The believer in Yeshua/Jesus Christ need to understand the Wave Offering in Leviticus 8, for it is the Word of Yahweh God and portends the Lord Yeshua's future free will offering of Peace to Yahweh God Almighty that will offset the rebellious sin of the first Man Adam.

Leviticus 8 verse 22 thru 36

²² And he [Moses] brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

²³ And he [Moses] slew it [the ram]; and Moses took of the blood of it [the ram], and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

²⁴ And [then[ he [Moses] brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood [of the ram] upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

All the marking of the ram's blood were positioned on Aaron the High Priest and also the Levitical priesthood, and the blood marks would indicate the principle area of the thorn and nail prints that would be on the crucified Lamb of Yahweh God.  The innocent Lamb Yahweh God would die for the sins of the world. The blood of the male lamb was sprinkled upon the altar and all around the altar of sacrifice.

²⁵ And he [Moses] took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:

²⁶ And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the Lord, he [Moses] took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:

27 And he [Moses] put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the Lord.

²⁸ And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: It is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Indeed the Passover lamb was dead.  Now the Wave Offering, was inclusive with the unleavened bread, and is indicative of the Presentation Offering of the Lamb of God slain for the sin of Man even before the foundation of the world.

²⁹ And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the Lord: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part, as the Lord commanded Moses.

³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified [set apart ] Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

³¹ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil [bake] the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

³² And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread shall you burn with fire.

33 And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall He consecrate you.

34 As He has done this day, so the Lord has commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.

³⁵ Therefore shall you abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the Lord, that you die not: for so I am commanded.

³⁶ So Aaron and his sons did all things which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.

Leviticus 27

⁸ But if he [in his presentation offering] be poorer than your estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him according to his ability that [he] vowed shall the priest value him.

The Governor Pilot to whom Messiah was delivered, found no fault in the Man Yeshua haMashiach, and wanted to release Him without price. Christ was brought before the people where the chief priest and the elders persuaded the people to destroy Jesus. And so we see that the price of Jesus the Christ of God was deemed to be that of death: For the warrant for His Word that He was the Son of God, demanded the payment of Death for blasphemy.

All that the Lord Jesus Christ IS, is IN His Presentation Offering as a Son of Yahweh God and His sinless offering of Himself to His Father Yahweh God, is displayed IN Messiah's sinless Crucified Body.  Christ's Perfection was received as the Perfect TRUTH Of His Father Yahweh God, and Jesus was seen by Holy Yahweh as absolutely worthy in His perfection, to bare the sin of the world that was attributed to the first Man/Adam.

For Christ also suffered once for the sin's of the world: The Just for the unjust so that He might bring us to Holy God, having been put to death, but made alive by the Spirit of God. For by the Spirit of LIFE, He also went and preached to the spirits in prison. ^{(See 1st Peter 3 verse 15 thru 19.)}

And we that are IN Christ Jesus the Man by living Faith, are to be like Him as sons, for we also preach the Living Christ Jesus.  If we are IN Christ Jesus the Man, then we are to present our bodies of flesh as a Living Sacrifice that is pleasing to Father Yahweh God Almighty.  For even as Christ is alive forever more, and the we that are IN Him are also alive IN Him, then we as sons in our bodies of flesh,  are to bring Glory to the Almighty God of the Living.

Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect Will of God. ^{(Romans 12 verse 2.)}

But, in this day of confusion, is it possible that the scriptural words of Paul, presents a form of  legalism?  Are the people legally condemned, if they do not follow all of Paul's instructions that lead to holiness before Holy, Holy, Holy Yahweh Lord God Almighty?  Abhor that which is evil, and cleave to that which is good. Alas! The wise of the world have declared evil good, and that which is good they have declared to be evil, and the church people of flesh and blood are ensnared in the world's confusion.  All who are called IN the Holy Name of the Lord God Almighty, must flee from all appearances of evil and present themselves as holy and acceptable to Holy Yahweh Lord God Almighty.

So then, how do you renew your mind if Paul's instructions to goodness is seen as a legalistic command?  The Word of God is given for instructions that brings sinful mankind to faith in the righteousness of the Man Jesus Christ.  ^{(Consider goodness Romans 12 verse 9 thru 21.)} Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the Law [Decalogue]. ^{(Romans 12 verse 31.)} If we are IN Christ Jesus by Living Faith, then the Law in Commandments, is designed to bring the conviction of sin to all that are in this common body of death.  Again, to make the point, we hear Paul cry out; "Who shall save me from this body of death?  I Thank Yahweh God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  So then Paul says that with the mind [centered IN Christ] he is a servant to the 10 Commandments of God, but nevertheless, this body of sin makes its own demands that he serves another Law, the unrighteous Law of Sin and Death.  ^{(See Romans 7 verse 21 thru 25, and 8 verse 1 thru 7.)}  The God given Faith that lives IN Paul gives the Only Answer: For Jesus Christ the Lord of TRUTH has provided, the only WAY of escape from sin's death in this body of flesh.   Our Covenant agreement with Yahweh God is through Communion IN the Body and cleansing Blood of our Savior, Yeshua. ^{(See 1st Corinthians 10 verse 12 thru 17.)} When reading the English versions of the Bible, the words "legal or legalism" are not found in the Scriptures, but are erroneously conceived in thought, through the intellectual contrivances of souls that are right in their own eyes of idolatrous flesh.

Leonard Ravenhill, a noted evangelist, stated: "When there's something in the Bible that churches don't like, they call it legalism." 

The Hebrew letter of exhortation to the Jews was written by a redeemed Jewish author, who knew of the workings of the Mosaic Law, that was established with its priesthood and the settings of the earthly Tabernacle made by the hands of earthly man.  The redeemed author was warning the new Jewish converts to not waver in their new found faith in the WORD of God, because of the absolute sufficiency of God's New and Eternal Covenant Sacrifice in the Life Blood of the Almighty's only Begotten Son Yeshua/Jesus.  All things of the Gospel pertain to the Eternal's Unfailing Word of Promise that Elohim gave in the Garden of Eden: For in God's ordained time, His First Born Son in the flesh of man, was incarnately conceived by Yahweh God's Spirit in the ovum of the Hebrew Woman named Mary. ^{(See Pentecost.)}

For Yahweh God to be Holy True, then Holy God's Holy Word of Promise must be born of the true genetic flesh of the first Adam/Man.  Satan, the deceiver of faith in the Word of God, could not even accuse Jesus Christ, the Righteous Word of God of  being less than the pure genetics from the first Man Adam for Yeshua's  Holy Father Yahweh God preserved the genetics through out the course of time. ^{(See Seduction of Man.)} Now with a Son's Perfect Love and obedience to His Father God, Jesus the Man would defeat sin and death with His sinless death for rebellion of Man, and His  accomplish was certified as TRUTH through His resurrection into the LIFE of His Holy Father. ^{(See Creation of Man.)}
