9 Hebrews 6: 20 Wherefore Jesus the forerunner is entered into the veil for us, having been made a High Priest for ever, after the order of Mdlchizedek. Hebrews 7:
1 For this Melchizedec, king of Salem, priest of the Most
High Yahweh God, who (Melchizedec) met Abraham (Abram) after returning from the
slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 17 The
king of Sodom went out to meet him (Abram) after his return from the
slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, at the valley
of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).
18 Melchizedek
king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most
High. 19 He blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abram
of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth. 20 Blessed
be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Hebrews 7 with its ending verse 28: 28 For the
Torah makes men High Priest, which all have infirmities in their bodies, but
the Word of the Oath of Yahweh God, which came after the Torah, made His Son,
His High Priest for ever. The children of the nation of Israel, in their flesh of sin, would fail many times to keep the Heart of Yahweh God's Divine Purpose to bring forth Yahweh's Salvation to the world. When Israel would repent of their waywardness, then Yahweh God would repent of the evil He would have allowed to come against Israel. Israel's unfaithfulness would eventually break the heart of their Covenant with the Word of Yahweh God, and no amount of animal sacrifices or other works of righteousness could ever suffice for sin's power in the flesh, then and now. Yahweh God, in His Eternal Understanding, would allow sin's own judgments to come upon the children of Israel, in the hope that sin's own curses would bring them to repentance. Adonai Yahweh, faithful to His Word, would oversee time's circumstances, and in His foreknowledge of His creation of time, He would be faithful to bring forth His Word of Salvation to be conceived in the ovum of Mary, for she was a true generational daughter of Adam. The Hebrew virgin Mary would give birth to Father Yahweh God's Incarnate First Born Son, Who was conceived from the genetics from the first Adam through Adam's wife Ishshah. For I will put enmity between you [Satan] and Woman [Ishshah], and between thy seed and her Seed. He shall crush your head, and you shall bruise His heel. The Holy One of God's Salvation, is the Man Jesus Christ, for with His crucifixion death, and His Bodily Resurrection into the LIFE of His Father Yahweh God, He finished with perfection all that Yahweh God had sent Him to accomplish. Now that Christ the Man lives forever, He makes intercession forever for the ever believing of man kind. For the Lord (Yahweh) swore, and will not repent: Thou art a High Priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek. (Psalm 110 verse 4.) The Lord's Oath concerning Melchizedek was first revealed in the Davidic Psalms, and clarifies what took place in Yahweh God's covenanting with His Word witnessed by Abram. The Lord Yahweh God swore upon Himself and will not repent of His oath. At this point the writer declares to the notable Jews the Word of Yahweh God in His sure reference to Yashua.Jesus:
Thou Art a priest forever after the order of Malchizadec. Christ, Who could never die again, was made the Mediator and High Priest after the order of Melchizedek because Melchizedek possessed a LIFE that could never be destroyed. The change in the Law of the priesthood was not an obliteration of the Torah, but the change was for the complete obliteration of the Levitical priesthood, and established Eternally after the One Man and Mediator, Yeshua haMashiach Who died once for sin, and in His perfection as Man, sin with its death did not hold Him in the grave and in His Resurrection to LIFE in the Eternal Power of His Father Yahweh God, Jesus Christ would never die again. For this reason was Yeshua/Jesus, the sinless Man, made to be a guarantee of Yahweh God's New Covenant. Truly there were many priest, but they could not continue in their position in the priesthood because they would all die because they were all sinners. (See Hebrews Therefore, If the first priesthood had been without fault then there would have been no need for a change to the priesthood. But this Man Jesus, Yeshua haMashiach, because He lives forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore, Jesus is able to save sinners to the uttermost, if they come to Yahweh God through Jesus the Christ of Yahweh God, for Yeshua is alive forever more to make His merciful intercession for confessed sinners. Thou Art a Priest forever after the Order of Malchizadec. The Levitical High Priest under the priestly command in the Torah, were required to offer animal sacrifices; first for their own sins and then for the sins of the people. But the sinless Christ Jesus, did not have this daily need, for He did it once when He, as the Son of Adam, offered His sinless Self to assuage the rebellion of the first Adam and to satisfy Holy Yahweh God's Justice. For the law in the Torah makes men high priest even though they will die because of their sin, but after the law of the priesthood was written, then the Word of Yahweh God by His oath, has made His Only Begotten Son a consecrated priest for evermore.
What Affect does Yahweh God's Confirmation of Messiah as High Priest have on Animal Sacrifices? 18 For
there is truly a disannulling of the commandment going before because of
the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. The above Scriptures, as transcribed in King James English, has brought forth tremendous misunderstanding of what the Greek language is truly saying. By which we are able to draw nigh to God The English politics and prejudice of that time and now, has further poisoned the minds of sinners who need the WORD of Yahweh God to be expressed in the TRUTH of Yahweh God's Great Salvation Gift in His Only Begotten Son, Yeshua haMashiach. With the gross misinterpretation of the Scriptures, many hold steadfast the erroneous view that in Christ's death, the law of sin was abolished. How pleased they would be when they thought that the Ten Commandments were abolished because they were non effectual, therefore there was no guilty consequences for sin and they no longer had responsibility for their illicit actions, But understand and know that sin is spiritual and sin existed before the spiritual Law of Yahweh God was given on mount Sinai that would reveal spiritual sin as death. The Ten Commandments of Yahweh God did not cause sin, but the Ten Commandments revealed spiritual sin that was unknown to mankind because it could not be seen for the death that it is. The Eternal Yahweh Elohim would know from Eternity, that in His creation of time, His coming creation of free thinking intelligent beings would formulate in their free thinking minds of what is good and evil and initiate their own conclusion for their own selfish purpose. One man's good is another man's evil and visa vera. Therefore sin is first selfishly and spiritually conceived in the free thinking minds of intelligent beings. Remember that Yahweh God is the HOLY Yahweh God of the Living and How hates the opposing law of sin and death, When persons choose the hope of LIFE in Christ Jesus, then they are in complete opposition to the law of sin and death. In lieu of gross confusion let us examine the Eternal TRUTH of the WORD of Yahweh God, and take a closer look at what the Scriptures in Hebrew 7 verse 18 thru 19 is saying in its fullness of /the TRUTH. For the Law of the priesthood could made nothing perfect [in their animal sacrifices] ; but the [the Sinless Offering of Christ Himself] brought in a better hope, by which we are able to draw nigh to [Yahweh] God. (See Hebrews 7 verse 11 thru 20.) Christ Jesus,Yeshua haMashiach. has made it explicitly clear as how we are able to draw near to Yahweh God by His infallible Word.
No man comes to the Father except by Me.
The daily priestly offerings of the sacrificial animals for sin and death, only precipitated the eventual death of the performing Levitical priest, who each were imprisoned in their own sin that would bring forth their own physical death. Of course. the sacrifice of the animal, also precipitated the death of the people who were of the priest's like corrupted nature. (See Hebrews 10 verse 11 thru 12.) The sacrificial offering of the life blood of an animal of its kind, could never give life to the souls of man-kind that are of its own distinct kind of the Man Adam who was created in the image of Yahweh God Elohim. The better hope of the risen Christ of God, eliminated the need for the sacrifice of the animals for sin and death, and thus the need for the finite priest that offered the daily sacrifices. In that He [the Almighty Yahweh] God has spoken of a New Covenant, He has made the first covenant old. Now that which decays and waxes old is ready to vanish away. ( Hebrews 8 verse 13.) Indeed the first covenant grew old, and in 70 AD, it completely lost all affectedness in accordance with the New Covenant instilled by the Word of Yahweh God. The first covenant was based on the Levitical Priesthood and their daily works of animal sacrifices that were performed on earth. Because of God's Oath and His Total Satisfaction with Christ's Offering of Himself for the sin of Man, then there was a change in the Levitical Priesthood to that of the forever Priesthood of Jewish Jesus Christ, ordained by Yahweh God, according to the Eternal Order of Melchizedek,who is alive for evermore. With the change from an earthly ministry of the finite priest, into the Eternal Heavenly ministry of Jesus Christ, then the earthly animal sacrifices with the Levitical priesthood would have passed away. Both the animal sacrifices and the Levitical priesthood were finally sanctioned, when Rome destroyed the Jerusalem Temple on the 9th of Av [Tisha b'Av] in the year of 70 AD. For this High Priest [Sworn of God to be of the everlasting order of Melchizedek] is absolutely necessary for us, Who is Holy, harmless, undefiled being separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice for his own sins, and then for the people's: For this He [Jesus Messiah] did once, when He offered up Himself. (See Hebrews 7 verse 21, verse 26 thru 28.) Just as it is Written that man is appointed to die once, and after death then comes the judgment; (Hebrews 9 verse 27 referencing Genesis 3 verse 19.) so it is with Christ Jesus. He indeed died once to take away the sins of the many, and after His death He was judged by Yahweh God as to the merits of His death. Jesus, came before the Only Almighty God as a Presentation Offering that in Hebrew is called Chagagah, and the sinless Offering of Jesus Christ as a Perfect sinless Man dying for sinning mankind, was an exceptionally pleasing Offering to His Holy Father Yahweh God Almighty. Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the summation: We have just such a High Priest [IN Jesus/Yeshua Messiah] Who is set on the Right Hand of the Throne of the Majesty in heaven. A Minister of the Sanctuary, and of the True Tabernacle, which the Lord Established and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices; wherefore it is of necessity that This Man also have somewhat to offer. The first Adam was unloving in his treasonous disobedience to His Maker, and warranted sin's call for death, but the Last Adam, being appointed in time to be of the very last genetic Son of Man/Adam, presented Himself, as a Chagigah Offering, to Holy, Holy, Holy Yahweh Lord God Almighty, with a Son's Perfect Love and Obedience to the Word of His Father. Now Holy Yahweh was Eternally Pleased with Jesus Christ's Perfect Presentation Offering of a loving Son. Indeed Yahweh God's Holy Word did not return to Him void, but finished the Work that Yahweh God Almighty had ordained of His Lamb Who was deemed to be slain even before the foundation of the world. (See all of Isaiah 55 verse 3 thru 11.) The first Adam/Man brought death to all of mankind, and this should be understood because all of mankind die and the death is caused by spiritual sin. But Yahweh God's just Word, was conceived in the original generational flesh of the first Adam, and Yeshua/Jesus as the last Adam would return to the Almighty Yahweh God with absolute victory over the first Man's sin and death. For by one Man's [Adam's] disobedience, many were made sinners, so then by the obedience of the one Man [Yeshua/Jesus] shall many be made Righteous. (Romans 5 verse 19.) Christ's victory over sin and death, eternally established Yahweh God's New Covenant Word of LIFE to be with the person's of mankind, who follows after Yahweh's Eternal Grace IN the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, Yahweh God Almighty swore an Oath to His Holy One: Thou art My Son: (Psalm 2 verse 7.) Thou art a Priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (Psalm 110 verse 4.) (See text from Hebrews 5 verse 5 thru 10.) At the Will of His Holy Father, the Word of Yahweh God, came down from heaven as the True Bread of Heaven and the Bread of LIFE, and He was born of the genetic flesh of the first Adam/Man; So then: This Man [Christ Jesus] after He had offered His one sacrifice for sin forever, [that He Yeshua] sat down on the Right Hand of His Holy Father. The Jew was to understand that there are no more continuing sacrifices of animals to set aside the sin of dying mankind. For while the first covenant stood only in dead works offered in meats, and drinks, and various washings, and in carnal ordinances imposed on them [Jews] until the time of reformation. Some believe that the time of reformation is a return to Yahweh God's first order of His creation of Man/Adam. For Yahweh God's Gift of Faith to the Jew first and then us, is to be fully Living IN the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE that is in the Man Christ Jesus and Him Alone. Christ Jesus/Yeshua, having died once for sin, and raised by the Spirit of Holy Yahweh God from the dead, reveals Yahweh God's Eternal Satisfaction with the Son of Man Jesus Christ and His perfect Presentation Offering of Himself. Christ's offering of Himself, has ended all animal sacrifices forever, as well as the carnal sacrifices of all of sinful mankind. Now with the remission [meaning obliteration] of these is [meaning animal sacrifices], there is no more [animal or carnal] sacrifices for sin. (Hebrews 10 verse 18.) The sin of the first Adam brought death to all of mankind, but the Sacrificial Death of the Last Adam, Jesus/Yeshua, with His Offering of a sinless Life as Man, has conquered death for all time. For in that He died, He died unto sin once, however, in that He Lives, He Lives unto Holy Yahweh God, His Eternal Father. (Romans 6 verse 10.) The prophet Daniel prophetically wrote of the vision that he had witnessed with the Angel Gabriel: Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and the holy city. But after 62 weeks shall Messiah be cut off [killed], but not for Himself. The Righteous Eternal LIFE of Yahweh God is revealed in Yahweh's TRUTH, for Jesus/Yeshua, the WORD of Yahweh God was resurrected to the LIFE of His Father Yahweh God, because Yahweh God accepted the the Last Man, Jesus Christ, and His sinless offering for all of mankind's death initiated by of sin. The Man, Yeshua/ Jesus and His sinless offering, would reveal a Holy LIFE would have conquest over sin and its condemnation of death. Now through the LIFE giving Spirit of His Father, Jesus the Messiah would be empowered to bring the TRUTH of His LIFE to the souls of all of sinful man kind that would obediently follow Yahweh God's Saving Gift of LIFE in His only begotten Son, Yeshua haMashiach [Jesus the Christ of God]. So Christ [Messiah] was offered once to bear the sins of many. And to those that look for Him, He shall appear the second time without sin, bringing Salvation to those who are dead in Him. (Hebrews 9 verse 27.)
