Letter to the Hebrews

The WORD of Yahweh God is absolute TRUTH, and the TRUTH of the WORD of Yahweh GOD does not change in one iota. Yeshua the WORD of His Father Yahweh God solidified the TRUTH when He Declared:

Till heaven and earth pass away: Not one jot or one tittle shall in anywise be changed in the law (Torah WORD of Yahweh God) until all is fulfilled.

Yeshua haMashiach is the The WORD of YAHWEH GOD, and when THE WORD declared that not one jot or tittle would in no wise pass from the [Torah] Law, then the jot and tittle would indicate that the WORD of YAHWEH GOD was written in the Hebrew Language.  Ah, but when corruptible finite mankind gets its hands in the matter, things can change according to their mental interpretation of what they think that the Scriptures meant and are further influenced by their sin skewed understanding of good and evil. 

Woe to them who call  good, evil, and evil, good; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweetness and sweetness for bitter.  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight. ^{(See all of  Isaiah 5 verse 20 thru 24.)}

Even though the WORD of YAHWEH GOD was written in the Hebrew Language, few people of the Temple times could read the Hebrew language.  To accommodate the language problem in Alexandria Egypt, the Greek Pharaoh of Egypt, Ptolemy II Philadelphus  requested 72 Hebrew scholars to translate the Hebrew Scripture into the Greek language which was the common language of the times, So then in the 3rd century BC the Hebrew Scriptures were translated into the Greek language, in what is called the Septuagint or LXX,  The Septuagint is the earliest Greek translation of the books from the Hebrew Bible and remains in existence.

Then in 382 AD, Pope Damasus I of the Roman Catholic Church, commissioned Jerome of Stridon to translate the Septuagint and the New Covenant written in Koinia Greek into the Latin language of the Roman Church,  In the 16th century, the Latin version of Scripture became commonly known as the Vulgate.  The western churches used the Latin versions of Scripture up until about the 13th or 14th Centuries. At that time there were men who would translate the various writings into the English language.  Two of the men, William Tyndale, and John Wycliffe who transliterated the available scriptures into English were both put to death in England that was under the influence of the Catholic Church. We don’t know all the cultural variations that were in effect at the time of the Scriptures transliteration into English, but man's varied politics always were mitigating factors.

Within six months of John Wycliffe's execution in England, the English politics of the day, had a change of mind and recognized Wycliffe's interpretation of Scripture.  Over the course of the 17th century the Authorized Version, also known as the King James Version, supplanted the Latin Vulgate as the standard version of Scripture that would be utilized for English-speaking scholars.

To gather a greater understanding of how and what is transcribe as Scripture, then we recommend that the investigator look to the Wikipedia for its  renderings in the highlighted Septuagint, the Vulgate that is attributed to Jerome, the Bible,  and the King James Version of the Bible.

The Communication Conundrum in Transliterations.

With the transliteration of the Hebrew, Greek, and Latin scriptural text into English then the true meaning of the WORD of Yahweh God can be changed by human bias, with human interpretation changed in just one word.  In recent days, the following Scripture has been truncated and the only the ending thought has entered into the mix.

World English Bible [WEB] Isaiah 53 verse 4 thru 5:

⁴ Surely He has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered Him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
⁵ But He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on Him; 

   and (for) by His wounds we are healed.

King James Version [KJV] Isaiah 53 verse 4 thru 5:

⁴ Surly He has borne our grief's, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
⁵ For He [Jesus Christ] was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.

As is typical from the beginnings in the Garden of Eden, mankind will have it their way rather than yielding to the Creator Yahweh God's New Covenant WAY of LIFE.  The Scriptures presented in the two English translations of Isaiah 53 verse 4 thru 5 on the whole the translation from Hebrew to English is very good, but let's parse the one Greek Word that is transliterated into the two words, "wounded" and the transliterated phrase "and with His stripes".  When you click on the words "wounded" and the phrase "and with His stripes" you can see that the associated Greek word chabbuwrah {khab-boo-raw'} can have the interpreted meaning of four different possible definitions with the following choices in the KJV English concordance: bruise, stripe, wound, blow.  The meaning of any one of these words can be used as Modifiers of the sentences that preceded the sentence containing a perceived modifier.  The words "and with His stripes" can correspond to the Greek word "chabbuwrah" as is found in Exodus 21,but see verses 22 thru 25, to understand that the punishment that is to be inflicted by man upon man, was after the manner og a child suffering injury at the hand of man.  The punishment was in accordance to the degree of the affliction.

One noted man's doctrine has infected many others, for the man has taken the Words; and with His stripes we are healed; totally out of context, and displaced the principle reason why the LAMB OF YAHWEH GOD was slain before the foundation of the world.  The sinless LAMB and Messiah of Yahweh God, came into this world to die for the sins of dead mankind.  All of the WORDS of Yeshua, the Christ of Yahweh God confirms the TRUTH of His Father's WORD of TRUTH IN His Salvation Mercy.  Even simple logic affirms the beginning and ending of death in the crucified Body of the sin innocent Christ Jesus, for indeed,Messiah died for the sin of Adamkind. but because of Yahweh God's Promise of LIFE IN HIS PERFECT Sinless WORD, then the dead Body of the sinless Jesus Christ rose from the dead. 

So shall My WORD be that goes forth out of My Mouth: it [He] shall not return unto Me void, but it [He] shall accomplish that which I please, and it [He] shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it [Him].

If Yahweh God's purpose was to bring His Salvation to mankind, then His WORD, Yeshua haMashiach must die first, in order that all things of the WORD of Yahweh God would be accomplished. Christ's sinless death for man's sin's of death, accomplished all that Yahweh God sent His Salvation WORD to accomplish.  Yahweh God's WORD correctly declares that by His [Messiah;s] wounds we are healed.  It is finished; says the Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world!

With our unabated faith in the suffering and death of our Savior Yeshua for our sin and death, then our body's are dead because of sin, but our souls are at rest in the Body of  Christ Jesus; and if we remain obedient to the WORD OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS, then at His coming, our souls will be set free from our sin's condemnation of death.

Note: There is no other way to the Promised LIFE of Yahweh God but through Jesus/Yeshua, the Messianic Lamb of God!  We should understand that the Holiness of Almighty God has not changed, and the sinful flesh of man cannot exist in Yahweh's Holy Presence.  Jesus/Yeshua is The Only WAY to His Holy Father Yahweh God, for Christ Jesus has established Yahweh' New Covenant with His Sacrifice of His Holy LIFE that was given in His Blood.   The New Covenant Offering of the Man Jesus Christ to Yahweh God is Presented in the Communion Blood that we bless, and is Holy Yahweh God's New 'Living WAY' into His Throne Room of Grace. ^{(See 1st Corinthians 10 verse 15 thru 17.)}   Our High Priest, the Man Christ Jesus, intercedes for our fleshly bodies of sin through God's New Living Way IN Christ Jesus, whereby the fleshly body of the believer is washed in the Fountain of Water within the shed Blood of Christ Jesus that is One with the Eternal God's Spirit of Grace. The LIFE Giving Blood of Christ Jesus is given to His believing disciples through God Almighty's Spirit of Grace for the remission of the flesh's sins of vanity that are renounced by all humble baptized believers. 

Also, please take notice of the linked scriptures in the Books of Matthew and Mark, for there you will see that while the disciples were yet eating of the flesh of the old covenant Passover [meaning sacrificial lamb] it was at the same time that Jesus/Yeshua brought to a close the old Covenant in the sacrifice of animals.  Yahweh God's original Covenant was completely changed as promised, for while they were eating of the old covenant passover flesh of animals, the Son of Man Jesus Christ inaugurated God's Everlasting Covenant in the unseen fullness of His Living Body and His Life giving Blood.  Jesus/Yeshua/Salvation was the Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the World. ^{(1st Peter 1 verse 18 thru 21, Revelation 13 verse 8.)} The TRUTH of the Word of Yahweh God could not allow for His disciples to sin by breaking God's original Covenant with their Creator, but Jesus with His Father's WORD of TRUTH would bring His disciples together in the One Spirit of His Father, through Yahweh God's New Covenant IN the LIFE giving Blood of His Living Word of Salvation.

Let us now  fully consider Paul's lament:

I was alive once, without the law's [condemnation of death,] but when the Commandment came. sin was shown to be alive and I died,  [active sin slayed Paul and wounded his conscience].  

The wretched rebellion of sin and death remains innately alive in the flesh of our humanity. The striving of sin in the flesh, would have all the saved of sensitive mankind, just like Paul crying for relief:

O wretched man that I am, who will save me from this body of death.

The baby Jew, in Christ, like all men conceived IN Salvation, will continue to struggle with the desires of their flesh that they presently live in, and now as a result of their failures, their very flesh will condemn them.  The carnality of Paul is found out by God's Holy and Just Commandments, and PAUL declares:

I find then in the law [Decalogue], that when I would do good, evil is present  with me.  For I delight in the Law of God [in the Torah] within the inner man: But I see another law in my members [inward parts], warring against the Law of my mind [that I delight in], and brings me into into captivity to the Law of Sin and death that resides in my members [inward parts].  O wretched man that I am!  Who will deliver me from this body of death. I thank Yahweh God through Jesus Christ our Savior.

So then, the goodness of Yahweh God's Laws [Decalogue) is to reveal the renegade Law of Sin and Death that resides in the flesh of even the saved of mankind.  For there is no other WAY of Sanctification except through Holy Yahweh's New Covenant IN the LIFE giving Blood of Jesus Christ.  When we can begin to see the crown of thorns skewered upon His Head, then we can begin to understand that; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him (Yeshua/Jesus. If our Covenant with the Eternal Yahweh God is by our Faith IN the LIFE Blood of Jesus Christ that absolves our condemnation from sin, then why would we look to find another way to justify our wrong doings in our self idolatry.
