For if we sin willfully?

For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the TRUTH then there remains no more sacrifice for sin, but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. --- It is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God. (See in full Hebrews 10 verse 26 thru 31.)

The fearful woe is addressed to the once enlightened Jews

Can we find an end to the confusion over the following Hebrew Scripture's that gives a severe warning to the Jew, who in deference to the TRUTH of the New Covenant, were thinking about returning to the animal sacrifices to atone for their sin?  But, God's TRUTH is the Person Yeshua haMashiach, Christ Jesus, Who was crucified to a cross, and died once for the sin of all people, therefore in His resurrection to the LIFE of His Holy Father, He can never die again.  The penalty for sin is death, and all of Adam kind in that they have all sinned are dead, but Jesus Christ, Yeshua haMashiack has paid the death penalty for sin once for all time.  Now all those who will acknowledge the TRUTH of  Messiah's sacrifice and follow Him, will be saved INTO His LIFE and from sin's death.

The Absolute TRUTH of Christ Jesus was established by all of the author's prior arguments to the Jews, and leads up to the therefore in Hebrews chapter 10 verse 19 thru 23.

 Therefore brethern, having boldness to enter into the Holiest [the Throne Room of Yahweh God], by the Blood Jesus Christ, by a New and Living WAY, which He [Yeshua/Jesus] has consecrated for us through the veil of His Body of Flesh, and being the High Priest unto Yahweh God; let us draw near to The Father Yahweh God, with a true heart, in full assurance of Faith, [IN His WORD of TRUTH] having our hearts sprinkled [cleansed] from an evil conscience with our bodies [of sin] washed with pure Water of the WORD of GOD. Let us hold fast to our profession of Faith without wavering.

 Previously, the writer had amplified the eternal fact that the Sacrificed LIFE of Jesus Christ is Yahweh God's finale Sacrifice for the sin of all of mankind. This is Eternally correct, and certainly displaces all animal sacrifices for sin.

For all have sinned and have come short of the Glory of God. But being justified by the redemption that is IN Christ Jesus, Whom [Yahweh] God set forth [before the foundation of the world (See 1st Peter 1 verse 18 thru 20.) ] to be a propitiation through Faith in His [LIFE Giving] Blood, that declares His Righteousness for the remission of sins that are [committed in the] past, through the forbearance of [Yahweh] God.  

Unfortunately, the not so astute theological scholars of today, in not understanding the fullness of Yahweh God's Covenant Grace IN Communion, has stopped short of the TRUTH, and didn't follow through to a right conclusion concerning the writer's previous warning to the new Jewish converts. We can be sure of this one thing, it is a futile endeavor to go back to the old covenant animal sacrifices, for Yahweh God's Promised New Covenant LIFE has come into full affect with the death and resurrection of the Son of Man Christ Jesus, and the old covenant is past tense.  The heresy has been compounded today by various scholars who have deliberately substituted the pulpit preacher, for the Word of the Eternal Yahweh God that Speaks of Faith in HIS New Covenant Communion IN the Body and LIFE giving Blood of His Son Yeshua haMaashiach/Jesus the Christ. 

Now, in context with what was previously written by the author, many thinking that it may be Paul, who as a Jew, is specifially warning the Jews: If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the TRUTH then there is no more sacrifice for sin.  In saying there is no more sacrifice for sin, then Paul is referring to animal sacrifices that would not in any way please Holy Yahweh God the Almighty.  Yahweh God's New Covenant is IN the LIFE giving Blood of the sinless Man Christ Jesus, and the LIFE of the Man Jesus Christ is the final sacrifice for sin. Any return to the old covenant animal sacrifices is treachery with the Creator, and is treading upon Yahweh's Holy Spirit of Grace that is One with the LIFE Giving Blood of the Son of Yahweh God.  For Yahweh God gave the LIFE of His only Begotten Son to establish His New Covenant of LIFE, in the LIFE Giving Blood of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah. Perchance, the alternative view of this scripture is nevertheless just as frightful for all who dismiss Yahweh God's Communion New Covenant Blood of Jesus Christ as irrelevant in the separation of sin from the sinner.  And so it is postulated in Hebrews 10 verse 26 thru 29 .

For if we sin willfully after that we received the knowledge of the TRUTH, then there is no more sacrifice for sin, but a fearful looking to judgment with fiery indignation,, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses Law died without mercy under 2 or more witnesses.  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under [his] foot the Son of [Yahweh]God, and has counted the Blood of the Covenant, wherewith he was sanctified [set apart], an unholy thing and insulted [Yahweh]God's Spirit of Grace.   

Within the new birth of the soul, there is a new beginning of life through the Baptismal Serum Water from the LIFE giving Blood of the Man Jesus Christ.  That Baptismal Water from Christ's Serum Blood washed away the evidence of the past sins of the believer.  Yahweh God is just, and He justifies the soul of the new believer IN their Faith IN Christ Jesus, even as the soul of the original Adam was just, before he and his wife Ishshah rebelled against God and gave birth to death.  Adam, in his rebellion against his Creator ate of the Tree of Knowledge and died within the one day of the Lord and Creator God.  More over, Adam failed in that he did not humbly seek his Creator's Mercy and Grace, by admitting his fault, but he justified himself for his insurrection against His Maker.  Elohim God is Holy beyond our understanding, and when Adam sinned, Yahweh God's Holy Spirit of LIFE left Adam/Man and Woman/Ishshah to their own selves and for them to make their own way in the earth.  Elohim had previously warned Adam to not participate in the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil, and now in their willful disobedience they male and female will experience the consequences.

In the sweat of your face, you will eat bread, until you return to the ground. For out of the ground you were taken: For dust you are and to dust you will return. (Genesis 3 verse 19.)

Within the beginning verses of 2nd Peter 1 thru 8, the Jewish Peter speaks about the virtues that the believer in Christ is to promote within his soul.  Then Peter also confirms the past tense in the writings of the author of Hebrews with his own admonishment: 

But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he 'was ���ταν' purged from his old sins. (2nd Peter 1 verse 9.) See that you do not refuse  Him that speaks.  For if they did not escape because they would not hear Him that spoke on earth, [at Mount Sinai] much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from Him that speaks from heaven. (See Hebrews 12 verse 18 thru 26.)
