The Falling Away
MG
11 And
many
false prophets shall rise, and shall
deceive
many.
2nd Thessalonians 2:
3 Let no man
'deceive you by any means': for that
day shall not come, except there come a
falling away
(apostasy)
first,
and [then] that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition:
The man of sin is the son of destruction, and it should
definitely be noted that Satan will be bringing forth the full force of sin's
reaping destruction upon the earth through the rebellion of his antichrist.
MG 12 the
love of
many shall wax (grow) cold.
In the falling away, these unfailing Words of Christ poses several questions and
they need to be answered: And because iniquity shall abound, the love
of many shall grow cold. Who are the many whose love grows cold? 2nd Peter 3 verse
3 thru 4 has a very troubling answer to the questions
when linked to Paul's Words of warning to the Thessalonians.
[Knowing this first, that there shall
come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying,
Where is the promise of His coming?
For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation. (Read in context the
full warning
2nd Peter 3:3-18) ]
These warning words of Peter, speaks to those, of the fence
sitting church, who have heard of the promise of Christ's coming to whisk them
out of the way of trouble. When their expectancy does not take birth, they
will fall away in their ignorance of the TRUTH of the Holy WORD of God. The many false prophets who stand in the pulpits preach an
unconditional love of God that gives license to the many, who in their own willful deception continue
in their lusts, not heeding God's Call for repentance. Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty's
New Covenant is in the Life giving Blood of
His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and the renewing LIFE of Christ Jesus is free for the believer to be received, but
is conditional to the free will repentance of the sinner.
Then, when Holy God's condition is met, Almighty God is faithful in His Covenant to
wash and
remit their current sins of the flesh as if they did not happen. (See
Luke 24 verse 45 thru 49.)
What are the
possibilities for those of a faith that allows them to continue in the pleasure of their sins,
while they blissfully wait on a rapture
that does not happen as they have been told? It would appear that they are the ones who
together will concur saying:
Where is the promise of His coming for all things
continue as they were in the beginning? Wherefore the love of the many shall grow
cold, and their deception is increased by the false prophets. (See
2nd Timothy 3:1-13.)
MG 13 But he
that shall endure (IN the Faith of Christ) unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[Luke
21:18 But
there shall not an hair of your head perish.19 In
your patience you possess your souls.]
